This isn't about obesity. Bubba and his family and friends are obviously in shape. This is about the contempt the Dems have for the class of people who are Waffle House's customer base.
And Rush is right. The left can't wait to do a tobacco on the entire fast food industry. Notice all those "healthy options" that the restaurants are putting on their menus? They're trying to create some protection.

I have to admit that I am a nutcase when it comes to nutrition; I eat exactly like an organic vegetarian nonGMO lib. Until I don’t. Plenty of room in my goody-two-shoes diet for the yummy lemon tea cake with icing from Trader Joe that I’m munching at this very moment.

If the Waffle House is closed, the town has been wiped out. The first place called when disaster strikes is the Waffle House. No answer or phone disconnected they know the disaster is a disaster of great proportions but not until the phone call is made to the Waffle House do they know for certain at the federal level. No wonder the leftist liberals are outraged. Close the Waffle House and Who You Gonna Call for the latest most accurate information? The news media?
