North Charleston’s Waffle House has been boarded up since the mid 90s when the base closed.
Even when it was open, that was a lousy part of town.

Well it aint the Ritz but it is good cheap food and God Bless Waffle house for feeding the needy after natural disasters.

Are you speaking of the Air Force Base? Been a while since have been to N. Charleston and yes was a bad part of town.

BTW the best breakfast I ever had was in Georgia, that was closely followed by Charleston SC.
