Nah, she is a New York lib dem...and...her parents live in Florida...but my brother has shamed her over voting for Obama so much now that she is looking to rectify her mistake, and she is sincere on that.
But they have both voiced their concerns to me about Rick being a “right wing maniac”, and those are the exact words they used. Unfortunately, neither of them know the extent of what is occurring in this country as they are both too politically shallow I’m sad to say. Their whole group of friends, including the doctor and his wife, all 30 something, are the same way.
I know what Rick is saying appeals to social conservatives, and I’m fine with that, but I also know that what he is saying does not appeal to young folks in any way at all, and that definitely worries me.
Which is fine, but they also seem to believe people share their abbreviated worldview. To the contrary, most people have chosen a side.
I don’t think that will happen anyway. That creep Romney will probably still win the way we are going. LOL

Santorum needs his head examined. His claim is absolutely outrageous, and I understand the Dutch being furious over it.

It states that euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide are not punishable if the attending physician acts in accordance with criteria of due care. These criteria concern the patient's request, the patient's suffering (unbearable and hopeless), the information provided to the patient, the presence of reasonable alternatives, consultation of another physician and the applied method of ending life. To demonstrate their compliance, the Act requires physicians to report euthanasia to a review committee.

No one said anything about throwing the baby in a trash barrel, never suggested it. However, I do think taking the body home to young children and then sleeping in a bed with it is weird.
Social Issues HERE are critical and go hand in hand with ECONOMIC issues. Santorum has beat the social aspect TO DEATH.
