Just received a visit from the FBI
7/30/2011 | John Galt - psuedoname

Posted on 07/30/2011 6:17:27 PM PDT by jongaltsr

A couple of hours ago receive a hard knock on the door. I answered the door and about 7 or 8 agents all flashing badges (claiming to be FBI and/or CIA) rushed me and pushed me against the far wall.

My dog attacked and they would have shot him had I not broken free for a second and covered him by laying him on the floor beneath me.

After things calmed down a bit and I received assurances that nothing would happen to him if I placed him in the bedroom and closed the door.

I did so and they then read me my rights and explained that my opinions expressed on Free Republic were the reason they were there. I had expressed my opinion of what I thought of the current President and the majority in congress and was therefore a potential threat to the government. After what seemed to be hours they came to the conclusion (I hope) that I was merely expressing my opinion and not a leader of a counter revolutionary army - as they saw it.

They searched my apartment for weapons and found 4 (which I have not fired in over a year or more) and they seized them for testing. My dog (Ranger) was not happy with the situation so I had to hold on to him during the search to keep him from being shot.

They also seized my computer and downloaded my entire files system. I suppose they also copied any files erased by normal erasure techniques. They returned the computer as "WAS" (as far as I can tell) but I after careful consideration the past few hours I have concluded that they are monitoring me closely.

I'm not even sure this message will make it through but what else can I do but try?

If (Big IF!) this does make it through, beware. They are watching and may make a visit to your residence and give your the same routine.

It really shook me up and I have trouble keeping my nerves steady and my thoughts straight as I write this message.

Once this gets out (IF THIS GETS OUT) I can pretty much expect their return but this time they probably won't be quite as considerate of myself and my dog who they will probably shoot on sight.

I have packed my truck with essentials but I suspect that there are those that are watching so I may not make it to one of my favorite mountain camping sites.

There I will not have any communications except when I get into town and use WIFI to make any contact.

Good luck and keep your heads down.

They have become serious about enforcing their new powers - and some of us might not make it.

I'll probably be #1 on their list.

Semper Fi and God Bless one and all.

Wow, that’s shaped more like a container staple.

Jacob walked by, stopped suddenly, and seemed to deflate.
“What are you three monsters up to now?” he charged off in the direction the three young rabbitoids had run off in.
“Uh oh.” Buaireas rolled his eyes and followed.

“It’s horrible!” said one of the three children as they cowered against the wall.
“It’s terrible!” opined the second.
“It’s.. it’s.. UgggaLEE!” the third stated in absolute horror as he tried to hide behind the other two.
“It’s just a,” Roger looked again, “Dog?”
The dog sat panting, eyes bugged out at the three furry things shaking and shivering before it.
The puddle of drool and the behavior said that the dog was quite used to seeing bipedal rabbits.
“Yes, Father has a dog. Little narking menace he is too. Always wanting to play at the wrong times.” Jacob bent down to pick up the dog.
The children cowered away from the ‘hideously ugly’ pug as it was transported away from them.
“What’s so ugly about the dog?” Roger had to ask, perhaps some insight into young rabbitoid psychology would help him.
“It doesn’t walk on two feets like us!” said the first, stamping a foot for effect.
“It doesn’t have nice ears or hands like us either!” the second said.
“And it DROOLS!” the third said sheepishly.
“I don’t have ears like yours.” Roger pointed out to some gasps.
“But, but, Father doesn’t have ears like us! But he’s wise, and did his best to take care of us! He brought us books too! And he doesn’t drool!” books were an expensive rarity and drooling was rather nasty looking, Roger had to agree.
And with that, one of the children gave off a pirate like “Arrrgh!” and charged off with the other two following rapidly behind.
Roger pondered the statements for awhile, the young rabbitoids thought the dog was aesthetically challenged because it didn’t walk on two legs, didn’t have hands, drooled, and didn’t have stately ears?
“Don’t worry about it, they usually get over that stage by the time they’re ten. I recall being horrified by stuff that didn’t walk on two legs like us. Terrifying. Then I saw the un-uplifted rabbits in the lab gardens and was shocked sensless.” Matthew leaned around into his view.
“They remind me of human children with that, differences being cause for panic and or ridicule. Thankfully the pug is immune to that, being a dog and all.” Roger laughed.
“Yeah, poor dog doesn’t understand the amount of scorn those three just heaped on him, poor thing. At least he’ll be well kept while we’re away.”

I can see now that if one really receives an actual visit from the FBI, like I did this afternoon, and it was scary, I tell ya, then no one on Free Republic will believe him (or maybe her.) You know, like the story of the boy who cried woof. (Or was it the Little Red Riding Hood story, with the grandmother dressed as a wolf and such? I always get confused.)

Okay

Hmm....

“Okay” (also spelled “OK,” “O.K.”) is a colloquial English word denoting approval, acceptance,

Ok

I had A German teacher in high school that game a test that included a list of words that were to be translated from english to german. No one in the class knew the english word. “cuke” I still remember it now, well the english part anyway.

Maybe your friend’s cat is a Siamese-and-something. You can’t always tell until it’s too late!

I’ve attracted the attention of an anti-Mormon psychotic because I said we should oppose Mitt Romney on the grounds that he’s a liberal loser, rather than because of his religion. I pointed out that Mike Huckabee is a “regular” Christian, and yet he’s another liberal loser; therefore, concern about a religious test could bring us a dead-end candidate.

Obsessed people are so booooooring.
