An Obama administration official, speaking anonymously to the Washington Post, said the administration is open to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood being in the government of Egypt that will likely replace the rule of Hosni Mubarak:
The official said that while the administration was concerned about "some elements" of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood and other non-secular groups participating in the demonstrations, it was "not ruling out their legitimacy" and place in a future government.
Obama was aware that the Muslim Brotherhood and others were in the audience when he spoke of "a new beginning" in a 2009 speech in Cairo that was directed at the Islamic world, the official said. He cited a passage in the speech in which Obama said that "no system of government can or should be imposed by one nation on any other" and that "America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard around the world, even if we disagree with them."
The Post buried this unsettling revelation in an article about the administration charting a "delicate course to oust Mubarak."
Voice of America reported that at today's White House briefing, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said the administration had no contact with the Muslim Brotherhood:
Gibbs was also asked about the U.S. position on potential participation of the Muslim Brotherhood in any new governing structure, saying that the United States has had no contact with the group.
"We have as we have throughout the world, standards for that contact - that is adherence to the law, adherence to non-violence and a willingness to be part of a democratic process, but not use that democratic process to simply instill yourself into power," he said.
While the group professes to be non-violent, the Muslim Brotherhood is widely considered to be the father of international Islamic terrorism and is thought to be working to create a global Islamic caliphate.

A top-ranking official in Hamas said Friday that the terror group is holding talks with the Obama Administration. They want to keep the meetings secret for fear it would rouse the Jewish lobby in the United States.
YNet News reported:
A senior Hamas figure said Friday that official and unofficial US sources have asked the Islamist group to refrain from making any statements regarding contacts with Washington, this following reports that a senior American official is due to arrive in an Arab country in the coming days to relay a telegram from the Obama Administration.
The Hamas figure told the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper that the Americans fear discussing the talks publicly would “rouse the Jewish lobby and other pressure groups in the US and cause them to pressure the administration to suspend all talks with Hamas.”
The Hamas figure, who is close to Ismail Haniyeh, the prime minister of the government in Gaza, added, “This is a sensitive subject. The Americans don’t want anyone to comment on it because this would catch the attention of pressure groups (in the US) and cause problems.”
He said Hamas’ exiled leadership in Damascus is overseeing the contacts behind closed doors.
You know, these “anonymous officials” are really idiots. Let the government speak officially, not through self-important or self-serving leakers.

As part of a new “counter-radicalization” program, the Homeland Security secretary quietly met with individuals tied to the outlawed terror group. (This is Part One of a two-part article.)

Last month, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and her senior staff privately met in Washington, D.C., with a select group of Muslim, Arab, and Sikh organizations. Among the mix were three organizations directly associated with an outlawed terrorist entity — the Muslim Brotherhood.
Secretary Napolitano spent an hour and a half briefing them on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) counter-radicalization and anti-terrorist programs. The intensive briefings spanned two days (January 27 and 28) and were called by the DHS.
Although there is no evidence of an exchange of classified information, this meeting was the beginning of an Obama administration program aimed at devising a new information-sharing framework with the Muslim organizations — some of them regarded as extremist because of their ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The group is to meet regularly with DHS senior aides and with Napolitano. This program was imported from the United Kingdom. The Obama administration has decided to replicate the UK program to win over Muslims and to get them to collaborate with the federal government
I guess this is all fine by Obama. It is certainly fine with Bill Ayers who used to do that himself.

Obama is a Connoisseur of Chaos, and he’s done it all over the world, in his self-appointed Messiah role: he did it in the Kenyan elections, BEFORE he was President, he’s certainly done it here, and he’s apparently been instrumental in working on the project of overthrowing Mubarak. Of course this chaos has always been there in embryonic form, and he’s done his best to exploit it, bring it to a head, and let the proverbial chips fall where they may. But if he thinks the Egyptian people are going to roll over and allow their country to fall under dominance by the Muslim Brotherhood, he’s sadly mistaken>What WILL happen, I think, is a long process whereby the MB will continue jockeying for prominence/dominance, and will be put in their place, which will likely be exactly where they are now, with nothing gained. Of course, Obama will take full credit for this, when Egypt emerges with a new leadership which will hopefully keep the Accords intact, and start on the road to address their REAL and PRACTICAL problems, which is what I think the Egyptian masses actually want.
If they think the MB has ANY talent for solving the huge problems of this huge country, they will think twice when the MB makes its Grand Plans clear. The Islamic Jihadists feed on the same kind of chaos Obama feeds on, and they are both going to receive their comeuppance in the coming weeks and months. Next in line-—Iran, whose ‘counter-revolution’ is long overdue. Isn’t it funny how little has been said or prognosticated about how this might be affecting the Iranian masses who were in the streets a few years ago?

I urge you to pay attention to what the above chapter 33 in the Koran actually says, because Obama knows it well.
It means that the hour is quickly approaching wherein non-believers shall be defeated and dominated by “believers” in the countries and cities where they live. This has always been Allah’s way, and nothing has changed. Those who do not submit will be murdered in horrible ways. (Some translations refer to it as slaughter.)
Cities and countrysides will burn and there will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Starting forest fires and brush fires is as much a part of the islamic warfare manual, as is blowing up buildings and people. They are building mosques in cities and small towns all over the country in numbers that belie the statistics we are being fed as to what their actual numbers are. It is the way of islam to make the offer to convert three times. Obama has given two major speeches in islamic countries wherein he declared The US an islamic country. After his visit to Turkey, Turkey went hardline. The next speech will be here on American soil. He even danced around it during his state of the union speech. So far, much of what he has tried to do has been almost miraculously thwarted. But there are wheels within wheels.
This is a very real vision the muslims have. We think it cannot happen here, but it doesn’t matter what WE think. THEY believe it and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. The proverbial barbarians are already inside the gates...and he is importing more as we speak.
