Unbelievable! By choosing those few words out of that abhorent passage, Obama was giving his approval to the entire passage. Imagine if George Bush had made a speech in Israel using these words from the Holy Bible:

‘God promised he would provide you “a land flowing with milk and honey”’

Just think of the reaction of the islamic world when it was revealed that this was the context of the Bible passage:

Exodus 3:17-20

3:17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

3:18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

3:19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

3:20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.

Yes he is aided and abetting and no one dares peep a word or be called a racist.

There are people on unemployment that have to wait for IRS refunds and risk their state going broke again and delaying a state refund by a year. All because the dems played politics/ For this ALONE; THEY ALL need impeached and removed from office.

I spoke to someone up north in a democrat diehard union rules town. The talk there is THEY ALL FINALLY woke up! They are saying the chaos in the streets in Egypt could be us if Obama continues with ObamaCare and corruption. This is BAD!

The same liberal bastards that trash the Christian Church and “Organized Religion” at every opportunity will embrace the “Non secular” Muslim brotherhood.

Rather than resisting and being put to death, these godless libs will submit to Islam instead. Looks like they're painted into a corner.

I don’t like this five pillars bit he’s always using.

It gives me the creeps every time.

I read that in his most recent speech, there were actually SIX pillars.

Innovation, Education, Information, Infrastructure and Deficit Reduction are the first five.

The sixth is Government Reform.

“For those interested, the ‘Five Pillars of Islam’ are Shahada (accepting Muhammad as God’s messenger), Salat (praying 5 times per day), Sawm (the 3 ritual fasting periods), Zakat (being charitable and responsible), and the Hajj (a pilgrimage to Mecca during the month known as Dhu al-Hijjah). It should be noted that while not wholly accepted by all Muslims, the more fundamentalists believe in a Sixth Pillar, that of Jihad, ‘The Struggle’. A few sects believe in ‘Seven Pillars’ which adds as the first pillar, Walayah, the Pillar of Submission to God and his prophets.”-—Obama: Five Pillars of ‘Change’ or ‘Islam’?: http://www.rightpundits.com/?p=8146

Government Reform-——jihad?

The jihadists in Egypt and all over the world are clamoring for “government reform”.

Did Obama wake them all up?

I’m not liking this.

OBAMA, ISLAM, AND THE HARD LEFT
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2519664/posts
Excerpt:

Posted on Sunday, May 23, 2010 7:50:33 PM by MestaMachine

Time to refresh our memory:

The most beautiful sound obama has ever heard
From the article:

“Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
************************

The first few lines from the “call to prayer” is the shahada. The shahada is not from the koran. It is from the hadith. Furthermore, it is the SWEARING OF AN OATH to islam. Non-Muslims wishing to convert to Islam do so by a public recitation of the creed. It is also an oath EVEN if you are tricked or forced into reciting it and even if you wish to renounce it, you can NOT do so without fear for your life.

It goes like this:
“Ash-hadu -an-la-ilaha illal-laha, wa ash-hadu anna Mohammad-an Abdo-hu wa Rasulo-uhu wa ash-hadu anna moulana ali-un –vasi-un wa vazir-ah.”
It literally means:
“I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is Allah’s servant and His Messenger, and Ali is his successor ’vasi’ and minister ‘vazir’”.

And it ALSO means that obama knew exactly what he was saying, knew exactly what it meant, and had no qualms about calling it the most beautiful sound on earth. As with most things, it was a message to his brethren and a finger in the eye of what obama considers stupid Americans.

If after what you have seen; if after what you now know about obama and his policies, here and elsewhere, and you still question whether obama is a muslim, you are too stupid to live.

Those of us who tried to warn people can’t just sit now and say I told you so with a silly smirk on our faces. We haven’t won anything. We are vindicated but trapped by the lack of awareness about islam in the American public at large.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

As for the five pillars, he began his -residency with five pillars and his pillars have five pillars.
Because of his position in the world and the stakes in their game, he is permitted to engage in taqyya, pretending to be Christian, even eating pork, as long as his HEART is pure and his allegiance is to allah. What he does makes no difference in a war as long as allah and the believers win.

http://select.nytimes.com/2007/03/06/opinion/06kristof.html?_r=2
“I was a little Jakarta street kid,” he said in a wide-ranging interview in his office (excerpts are on my blog, www.nytimes.com/ontheground). He once got in trouble for making faces during Koran study classes in his elementary school, but a president is less likely to stereotype Muslims as fanatics — and more likely to be aware of their nationalism — if he once studied the Koran with them.

Mr.

Moreover, Mr. Obama’s own grandfather in Kenya was a Muslim. Mr. Obama never met his grandfather and says he isn’t sure if his grandfather’s two wives were simultaneous or consecutive, or even if he was Sunni or Shiite. (O.K., maybe Mr. Obama should just give up on Alabama.)

Our biggest mistake since World War II has been a lack of sensitivity to other people’s nationalism, from Vietnam to Iraq. Perhaps as a result of his background, Mr. Obama has been unusually sensitive to such issues and to the need to project respect rather than arrogance. He has consistently shown great instincts.

Mr. Obama’s visit to Africa last year hit just the right diplomatic notes. In Kenya, he warmly greeted the president — but denounced corruption and went out of his way to visit a bold newspaper that government agents had ransacked. In South Africa, he respectfully but firmly criticized the government’s unscientific bungling of the AIDS epidemic. In Chad, he visited Darfur refugees.

“My experience growing up in Indonesia or having family in small villages in Africa — I think it makes me much more mindful of the importance of issues like personal security or freedom from corruption,” he said, adding: “I’ve witnessed it in much more direct ways than I think the average American has witnessed it.”

As a senator, Mr. Obama has not only seized the issue of nuclear proliferation, but also the question of small arms. For a majority of the world’s inhabitants, those AK-47s and R.P.G.’s are the weapons of mass destruction.

I marvel sometimes at how people either can’t see or completely refuse to see this. I used to try and tell people about it and how dangerous this so-called religion really is and that I believe it’s the beast religion of the end-times.

People always treat me like a crackpot for mentioning it. It’s right there to see if one has eyes to see.

Is most of society blind now? They must be.

What is Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, John Bolton and some of the other potential candidates for president this year (yes, 2011!) saying publicly about this?

Has anyone gone on TV in any depth and at any lenth and established some points in contradiction with the Obama strategy? Or are they just sitting this out? I would really like to know; this will gauge for me a lot on the issue of their grasp of US foreign policy, international affairs, intelligence, strategic planning and crisis management.

The top GOP Presidential contenders should also be put under performance perameters throughouth this esalating crisis. We need them live on TV and answer tough, detailed questions and establish a more clear public dialogue on this whole thing.

Here's what I found with a quick search.

Romney backs Obama's handling of the situation and says Mubarak should step down:
Romney 1
Romney 2
Romney 3

Boehner thinks Obama has handled the situation well:
Boehner 1
Boehner 2

Palin is happy she is not being blamed for the crisis:
Palin 1

Palin 2

Isn’t this the same as the reason Bush couldn’t support the coup against Chavez. I believe that it is illegal and should be an impeachable offense.
