I live in the heart of leftist NY State, Westchester County, where my McCain/Palin sign was removed from my lawn three times. I can count on one hand the number of conservative friends I have. I came late to politics but was always a conservative at heart. At 19 I refused to join SEIU. Now I understand why.

I am a dog lover, trainer, and rescuer. 18 years ago I rescued my first American Pit Bull Terrier and was captivated by their playfulness and drive. I trained her and she was an obedience champion. I am now training two others. In my future I would like a German Shepherd or Malinois in my pack. Being semi-retired I work from home the equivalent of three days a week.

I like fast, nimble cars and drive stick shift. I garden (organically) as much as humanly possible - outdoors and indoors. My addiction is plant collecting. Ronald Reagan was correct, "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'" The second most terrifying words are I'm here from the State or City.

Israel is my spiritual center. I have been there many times over the last 30 years, and admire them greatly.

God bless the USA, our troops who serve so that we remain free and safe, and Israel. The USA experiment has been the most successful in history.
