Rush just issued a debate to barry, or any of his cohorts, to a debate against barry's policies vs.USA.
Rush will incur ALL expenses, we will not pay a dime towards it. Will barry except?

The world has is coming unglued, the media ignores any real conservatives in government nor allows them a voice, Obama is failing miserably, the media dogs can’t defend Obama’s falling approval rating, and everyone is focused on Rush Limbaugh? Rush Limbaugh is controlling the attention of the Whithouse and the media? Rush is in control from his radio micrphone? How sweet that is! Are the dems that stupid to take the bait? The truth will set you free and giving any conservative a voice so people will listen to Rush for themselves and decide the truth for themselves is a tremendously powerful thing and let the liberals keep bashing Rush everyday and they will be out of power by 2010.
Yeah, even though Rush told his audience to drop the issue, it is still a smart tactical move because Barry will never debate him. Rush could still put him on the defensive and put the ineligibility issue out front by making his birth certificate public.

I’m laughing at those who said “We’re being played! The Dems WANT this!!!!” and at Carville, Begala and that bunch who reportedly planned all this months ago.
Obama is now on the level of either having to accept a debate with a (to him) lowly talk show host, OR appearing to be scared of such.
It’s a no-win for Obama:
If this is all part of the plan to make Limbaugh the unpopular face of the GOP, if Obama crushes him in the debate, Limbaugh will be a laughing stock, and people won’t pay him any attention (other than those who already like him). So that will scrap the Big Plan.
If Obama ties or loses such a debate, people will think “If Limbaugh IS the face of the GOP, maybe I should listen to what they’re saying.”
If he refuses to debate, he looks weak and scared.
I noticed on Drudge that Obama’s spokesman is trying to retire this story—if this is all going Obama’s way, why would he be doing that?
Obama kicked over a hornet’s nest and thought Limbaugh would be intimidated by Obama’s race into running away, something Obama has banked on his whole career. I don’t think he’s aware that no one’s buying that tactic anymore, especially not Limbaugh, who embraces this kind of thing.
I also believe we are approaching the point where this will hurt Obama’s numbers as Americans who aren’t interested say “Would you spend more time on the economy and your JOB and less on this silly bitching about a talk show host?”

I don’t know why you’re so upset that Rush is not my cup of tea. Because he isn’t, I don’t belong on FreeRepublic? Are you insane? This isn’t Free Rushpublic, is it?
So Obama shot his mouth off about Rush. What do you expect me to do about it? Rush is a big boy and can handle himself, and has 20 million listeners to help him. What exactly would *I* need to do to make YOU happy?
Stop allowing your personal opinions get in the way when you need to defending a fellow conservative when he's under attack by socialists.
I absolutely disagree that talk radio cannot be a forum for developing firm intellectual foundations and here’s why:
How do people primarily communicate? They talk. It used to be around the campfire. Now it’s around the radio.
How do they remember what was said? They write it down. Long format “talks” take the form of books.
Pictures convey certain types of information more efficiently than words, but they distract from the “text” part of understanding because they require a different type of concentration than words do. Abstract logic is for the most part left behind and “visual logic” steps in. For this reason pictures are more distracting than words alone if what you want is to deal with things like principles.
The Television uses both pictures and words. But the distraction of the pictures overrides the processing of the words and that is what explains TV’s capacity to entertain while comprehension is reduced.
THE POINT is that when a human is engaged in primary communication - words - that person can bring their full powers of concentration and logic to the issues at hand. Radio most closely resembles a primary talking environment. As a result, logic and deeper understanding is possible without the distraction of pictures. Abstract thinking - such as defining principles - is enhanced.
WHY DO LIBERALS FAIL ON RADIO BUT NOT SO MUCH ON TV? Because on radio there are no pictures to distract from the logical analysis of the words being offered. This allows most people to hear the sophism and weak or deceptive argument techniques of the left.
Someone like Rush, who relies heavily not only on humor but on carefully reasoned logical arguments, CAN in fact set up a very logically constructed framework for principles that ends up being very persuasive.
Liberals, on the other hand, use lesser and pseudo-arguments and those are recognized, even subconsciously, by listeners. They respond by turning off the radio.
Liberals have intellects made for TV and other picture media. Witness their success there as opposed to radio.
SO, if we stick to words and logic we can use radio to mass communicate. If we want specifically visual information to override the logical construction of our communication then we use TV.
Radio is therefore the perfect medium for mass communication of exactly such things as political principles.
Let them go their own way. They are unprincipled and cannot be counted upon when the chips are down. Even if you are not a fan of Rush you shouldn't stand by while a fellow conservative is getting screwed. See them for what they are...Cowards.

He won’t do it even if Rush double-dog dares him. He does not have the gonads.
