We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?

The development of the GOP from a decidely odd coalition of interests to being the dominant party in the US and doing it in less than 3 presidential election cycles is a remarkable piece of US History.
I believe you about MI’s knowledge of american politics and History — he always struck me as a pretty sharp guy. Offbeat occasionally, but sharp always. Glad you’re still here, MM.

The following is just one post from a thread that you personally moderated. And although this particular excerpt is from Tiamat, you offer your own digs all the way through the thread. Then when the target of your nonstop insults tries to defend himself, the whole pack of you descend on him like ravenous hyenas.:

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup butter or butter flavored shortening
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in the vanilla. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together; gradually beat into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Drop batter by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. As soon as they are cool enough to handle, eat three or four to make sure you did the recipe right.
COOKIES WITH PECANS: Lightly brown 1 to 1 1/2 cups of pecan halves or pieces on a well oiled griddle or skillet, and fold into the batter (along with the chocolate chips) before baking.
