Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Rex the Runt got the boot this morning.

Either retread (which I strongly suspect) or cause of his support of homosexuality.

“Rex the Runt got the boot this morning.”

I see sissyjane also took leave. It appears most all of the heavyweight Rudybots have already decided to leave then. It’s a great “Morning in American here in Maryland, beautiful 70 degrees by noon...I’m finishing up some research and I’m going to take lunch out on my deck(I work out of my home office) with a book and some Sun.

Man, I left the Columbia,MD area almost 2 years ago and moved to Western Maryland. I love it hear. I see 6-12 deer a day, I have red-headed woodpeckers, turkey, cardinals, a new blue jay family...and even a bear that I hear but haven’t seen yet, all I see from my deck. There is also a woodpecker that i haven’t ID’d yet. It has blue feathers.

Um... isn’t that what I SAID?

The only difference is in the degree.

If you are saying do I realize that some women will lie and accuse a man of rape so they can get an abortion, then yes I realize that. I’m not advocating it, I’m saying that is the only way you could attempt to enforce it. My personal approach would be to ban all abortion except in cases where the life of the mother is at stake.

It may be just me, I doubt it but maybe, but that's where I part company with the "exceptions". Why? First, the feminazi mantle requires all hetero sex, even between consenting adults, should be labeled rape. Just ask them.

Second, name one threat to the mother's health that isn't inflated by performing an abortion. Abortion is hardly a passive procedure. I've waited for years for someone to give an example where "for the health of the mother" is in less jeopardy by performing a purely invasive procedure. Just as gruesome would be a call to abort "the mother" for the health of the unborn. Blackbird.

I'm in the Villages of Urbana...southern Frederick County.

Are you west of Hagerstown? Hancock? Or is that not considered Western Maryland today? ;^)

It is CLEARLY not an attempt to converse with Freepers and share experiences.

Clearly, you failed Mind Reading 101.

Indeed, I do want to share conservative activism stories with fellow FReepers. For example, I met Eternal Vigilance at CPAC several years ago. CPAC has grown and become better every year. This year, CPAC had the largest attendance yet, and we had the opportunity to listen to all of the U.S. Presidential candidates, except for McCain, who declined the invitation. I posted a summary of the candidate speeches back in March.

Here is one of my favorite photos from Gathering of Eagles. It is a most handsome group of Iraq veterans. I was honored to stand with them and fellow FReepers in sub-freezing weather, as we stood our ground to the moonbats who outnumbered us substantially at Arlington Circle.

These young men continue to serve our nation and protect our freedom both overseas and here at home.

These young men are willing to give up their lives for your right to insult, bully, taunt, and belittle others in this forum, and those who have left this forum.

Does that make you proud?

Have another cookie.

Yeah...they’re beautiful...but they don’t stay around long enough IMO. Once the blooms start to get a tinge of brown....yecch!
