Actually she has quite a large following. It is DeSantis that does not.
Quite a deception but easily seen through. Florida has a House, not an Assembly. This is just a group with chapters in South Florida, one of which has Trump in its name.

First time I’ve heard of Florida Republican Assembly. Have they considered that DeSantis is able to multitask?
Never heard of this group actively supporting GOP candidates during elections.

I remember that the law only clarified what was already legal since the early 2000s, that a governor could run for president since it was a federal position and not a state one. What was clarified had to do with state employees running for in-state positions or for similar positions in other states.

I donāt know Florida politics, but this is some kind of BS. This is a just a group that calls itself the āFlorida Republican Assembly,ā presumably to fool people into thinking that itās the actual Florida legislature.
And the main signatory, Peter Kouracos, was apparently convicted in 1996 of ābattery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.ā He was acquitted on a separate charge of counterfeiting money in collaboration with a convicted murderer. Thereās a lot of dirty politics going on against DeSantis. I donāt know who is behind it, but itās nasty, and it makes me think that somebody is very afraid that heāll actually do very well in the presidential primaries and election.

The law that required a candidate to resign from office before running for another office was there for a reason.
That’s been my beef with him.
Do you remember the part where he can hide many of his activities from the public. I forget the exact details, but essentially he no longer has to disclose what he was doing while he was working on the taxpayer dime.
To heck with that stay on there and keep hammering on Trump after Trump has to step aside DeSantis will be in line for the nomination
He’s not dropping out before several primaries happen. Likewise, during the last election every Floridian expected a presidential run. It bothered absolutely nothing.
