GIVE ME A BREAK! I’m a 100% diehard Trumper but Governor DeSantis can certainly govern Florida while also campaigning. He’ll be going back to Florida 100% of the time pretty soon.

He should suspend his campaign because it is going nowhere, and he had much more national influence in helping to shape and mold this country as the governor of Florida than he has running a terrible campaign for President.

But certainly because of the likes of this bunch “voting” for him to stop and the likes of Laura Loomer.

This is an absurd post and just spam, using cliche’ nonsensical arguments that people who hold one office don’t and can’t run for higher office. Pure political speak.

Let’s compare what she’s done for the conservative cause to what you’ve done.

Sitting at home on his couch eating marshmallows would be better for the conservative cause than want Laura Loomer has done for it - make us look stupid and nuts.

Just like your favorite vulture. Everybody hates Ron who loves Trump. How can he get elected? Do you think?

The Assembly, and the State Senate collaborated with him, and enabled him to run for President, by changing the Resign-to Run law, so he could stay in office, and continue to get a paycheck while campaigning around the country. He signed the new law on the day he announced his candidacy. Now they are crying foul?

The FLA GOP State House and Senate greased the Skids for Meatball
to run for President. Apparently they are now trying to distance themselves
from a Part Time Governor. I’m guessing when Ronnie slinks back to FLA,
he won’t be getting a Welcome Home Parade.

"Does anyone remember how the Florida legislature changed all the laws to give DeSantis special privileges?"

I do, and I commented thinking it was the Assembly of the State Legislature demanding his dropping out, but what I want to know is how many Republican members of the Florida State Legislature are also members of The Florida Republican Assembly? That would be interesting to know.

"I remember that the law only clarified what was already legal since the early 2000s, that a governor could run for president since it was a federal position and not a state one."

You remember wrong. Rino Florida Gov. Chris Christie had the law changed because he thought he might end up being McCain's running mate. He wasn't, and left office never reversing the change. When Rick Scott took office, he had the law changed back to its original state. It was DeSantis that had it changed again so he didn't have to resign to run for President. I don't care what party a person is from, they shouldn't be allowed to use their party's majority in the State Legislature to benefit themselves politically, or monetarily, which is exactly what that change in the law did for DeSantis.

"Do you remember the part where he can hide many of his activities from the public."

He had the State Legislature change the part of Florida's Sunshine Laws that dealt with his travel records. They made it so none of his past or future trips, who he meets with, etc., will be available for review by anyone.

There is no end to the perfect, Schadenfreudic irony that Greasy's polling numbers bombed out starting with his announcement.

Meaning that when Joe GOP got to 'know' Meatball even a little, his support cratered.

"Oh that’s right, the legislators changed it which indicates that they were just as dumb as Ron in thinking he would win."

In reality, I think he had the law changed because he wasn't that certain of his chances to win the nomination. He was protecting himself, providing himself with a job to go back to, if his run failed. If he'd been certain of his chances, he wouldn't have needed to get the law changed. I really don't think he had that much faith in himself to begin with.
