Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told CNN Wednesday that she and Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) “pleaded” with former President Donald Trump to “call off his troops” and send in the National Guard during the January 6 Capitol riot.

Trump doesn’t have the authority to call for the National Guard for Congress Hill. That is the Speaker of the House and the Speaker of the Senate that have that authority. If they thought it was needed, but didn’t do, that that is on them.
It is pathetic if you don’t know that the President has no authority in Congress.

Should be easy enough to disprove what she is saying.
Pelosi and Schumer need to be the first witnesses called by Trumps legal team. Follow that with Bowser. Trump’s team has the receipts and the witnesses to prove the offer of the National Guard to be used for crowd controls, days before J6. If you have any doubt about this, just ask why the House J6 Committee never talked about the National Guard. The never used the Capitol Police Chief as a withness. Check out how he was left out in the Tucker Interview on National Pulse.
Should be easy to prove considering she was being followed by a documentary film team the entire day, and getting full access to that footage should be as easy as calling a family member since her daughter was the filmmaker.
