IHME just extended their projections out to the end of the year. And they are projecting that COVID-19 comes back with a vengeance.
I noticed the extended projection for my state, Arizona. Then I checked Texas and the entire U.S. Their story is that death rates for the U.S. could be over five times what it was at the worst of this year.
So, the campaign to spread fear and get people to accept vaccines has begun in earnest.
I have said and I'll say it again....there will be statistically the same number of deaths as there usually is...
56 million people die of some cause each year in the world.....56 MILLION...
Well, the CDC was admitting that only 6% of the Covid-19 deaths were due to Covid alone and the other deaths involved an average of 2.6 co-morbidities.
So, they dug up an institute in University of Washington to carry to panic baton since the CDC is now leaking the truth.

It is amazing the fear mongering around vaccines that goes on this site. Our side is going to be genuinely surprised when time back to normal is delayed because of all the bad mouthing and conspiracy nuts shouting about the vaccines.
The Russian Vaccine is demonstrating antibody and T-cell immunity. It is a good vaccine. If people dont want to take the vaccine — thats fine. Happily in America we are free to be stupid. But the vast majority of Americas are not conspiracy theory oriented and see a vaccine as a way back to normal.
We can disagree politely, but the constant drum beat, particularly with unfounded statements that are scientifically inaccurate coming from our side is mind boggling. After all, we had the Manhattan project that utilized all American ingenuity (and yes I know Einsten is German) and did the unthinkable in a short amount of time — and we celebrated it. Now with the same ingenuity and American spirit and scientific know how — we pan it.
Its is quite disturbing, and disgraceful.

I don’t know about anyone else, but for myself, it’s the prospect of being FORCED into taking it. If producers and the Govt. can keep the element of FORCE out of the equation, I’d bet a lot of people would be much more willing.

There are very few people advocating forced vaccination. I think this is completely unrealistic. I am aware of the 3 eggheads (Md/Jd/Ph.D) who wrote an article from the ivory tower stating that there should be forced vaccines, but I just dont see it. We are better served saying bring on the vaccine and let people and the free market make a choice.
A vaccine, no matter how ineffective, makes this thing in the rear view mirror.
