He came, he saw, he ate their lunch. Bill Barr, denied a meal break, feasted instead on a gaggle of Democratic amateurs.
Another congressional hearing, another Dem disaster. They planned a public hanging of the attorney general and spent weeks constructing their scaffold. He is corrupt, a liar, a toady, they and their media handmaidens assured us, and the House Judiciary Committee will reveal all.
Two obstacles quickly became apparent. The first is that the Dems were led by Rep. Jerry Nadler, whose rabidness is exceeded only by his haplessness.
The start was delayed because Nadler was in a minor car accident. That was obviously an omen, but Nadler doesn’t take hints, so he plowed forward into a head-on crash with a heavyweight opponent superior in every way.
Nadler specializes in duds, demanding that former special counsel Robert Mueller testify a year ago, only to see the Russia, Russia, Russia hysteria collapse on national TV. Then Nadler, bearing a lifetime grudge against President Trump, did such a terrible job in the first impeachment hearings on Ukraine that Speaker Nancy Pelosi demoted him and turned the task over to Rep. Adam Schiff.
Yet Nadler is a slow learner and there he was Tuesday, opening the ballyhooed attack on the AG with a statement that was a farrago of lies, fake news and slanderous attacks on law enforcement, Barr and Trump. It was so over-the-top, so fact-free and unsupportable, that it had zero chance of setting the stage for a meaningful interrogation.
Then again, honest interrogation was not the intent. Pelosi’s House only does character assassination.

The room was silent. The attorney general challenged their loyalty, and not a single Democrat objected. For them, it was just another day at the office.

The reason for te hearings was the hope Barr could be prematurely smoked out
The conduct of the hearing yesterday clearly indicates fear and panic
Barr should have stood up, walked up in front of this clown, pulled out Walter and pissed on his mic and desk, and said, “now I don’t need a piss break.”
Yes, FEAR AND PANIC permeate the Democrats. And, rest assured, the manner in which the Democrats treated AG Barr yesterday, will galvanize his resolve to bring the traitors to justice. AG Barr and John Durham are going to be the lawn mowers and the Dems arses are going to be the grass.

Article titles with a number in them are 23% more likely to get clicks. "Here's 5 things you need to know about blah blah." "you need" is an action phrase which also helps. Then you have the usual attention grabbing words like BOMBSHELL, BOOM, Destroyed, Wrecked etc etc. What makes it depressing is realizing that much of the population has the intelligence and/or maturity level of a 9th grader. Like the arena scene at the end of Idiocracy where the adult crowd acts like 3rd graders.
Yep, AG Barr was as cool as a cucumber throughout the entire circus yesterday. But when you are playing five card stud and you have the king, queen, jack, and ten of spades showing with the ace of spades in the hole, you can afford to be very, very cool. AG Barr and John Durham don’t have to bluff.
Dang! What an asshole. That’s how dirty cops torture and mess with people during interrogations — have them drink a lot (which Barr does), then refuse bathroom breaks.
Barr could have walked out. Who would stop him?

The only conservative AM Radio Station I can get has Dave Ramsey (which I can’t stand) followed by Glenn Beck (which I can’t stand) followed by Rush, followed by Sean (which I can’t stand) followed by the Great One at five o’clock in the afternoon.

I can’t understand why Barr and his gang haven’t brought charges up against this bunch of communist posing as democrats. The facts are there.
My last hope for justice is, if and when Trump is re-elected, he will lower the boom on these people because he and his admin will have nothing to lose.
That’s about the only thing I have left to look forward to cause ain’t nothing going to be done until after the election.

Was there no lunch break at all? I know that Congress critters come and go during most hearings as they are mostly there to showboat with their prepared statements, not to become informed, but no breaks at all?
He could have said, ok Nads, if you won’t give me a pee break, then I will just go on the floor. 🤪
I think eventually we’ll find Dems were behind the push for Sessions to be AG, knowing they could steamroll him into recusing.

He should have done that, the first time they didn’t allow him to answer. As you say, who would stop him? As much a bunch of scum bags the rats 🐀 are, I don’t think even they would like the public spectacle of trying to stop him physically. 🤗

No justice, ever? The biggest surprise of the day
was Barr stating a Justice officer has been charged
with investigating FISA abuses. I’m betting that by
September 15 someone will be crowing, “I love it
when a plan comes together.”
Add to that the fact that writers know that some, if not many, people are immediately drawn to what they want to hea. People want to hear that Nadler got destroyed, but he didn't He's still there and just as nasty if before, if not worse. Barr may have given him pause, but he certainly didn't destroy him.
