AG Barr destroys Jerry Nadler in another House Democrat testimony disaster

He came, he saw, he ate their lunch. Bill Barr, denied a meal break, feasted instead on a gaggle of Democratic amateurs.

Another congressional hearing, another Dem disaster. They planned a public hanging of the attorney general and spent weeks constructing their scaffold. He is corrupt, a liar, a toady, they and their media handmaidens assured us, and the House Judiciary Committee will reveal all.

Two obstacles quickly became apparent. The first is that the Dems were led by Rep. Jerry Nadler, whose rabidness is exceeded only by his haplessness.

The start was delayed because Nadler was in a minor car accident. That was obviously an omen, but Nadler doesn’t take hints, so he plowed forward into a head-on crash with a heavyweight opponent superior in ­every way.

Nadler specializes in duds, demanding that former special counsel Robert Mueller testify a year ago, only to see the Russia, Russia, Russia hysteria collapse on national TV. Then Nadler, bearing a lifetime grudge against President Trump, did such a terrible job in the first impeachment hearings on Ukraine that Speaker Nancy Pelosi demoted him and turned the task over to Rep. Adam Schiff.

Yet Nadler is a slow learner and there he was Tuesday, opening the ballyhooed attack on the AG with a statement that was a farrago of lies, fake news and slanderous attacks on law enforcement, Barr and Trump. It was so over-the-top, so fact-free and unsupportable, that it had zero chance of setting the stage for a meaningful interrogation.

Then again, honest interrogation was not the intent. Pelosi’s House only does character ­assassination.

Nads tried to put the screws to Barr when he denied a pee break requested by Barr. Don’t believe it worked.

Yes, Barr asked for just five minutes, but nadler denied him at first, vehemently. Not a good look for the Dems.

I think eventually we’ll find Dems were behind the push for Sessions to be AG, knowing they could steamroll him into recusing.

I think the way Barr handled Nadler during the pee break request is classic. Nadler quickly realized who was in charge.

The vote was 52R to 47D for Sessions. Hardly a push for Sessions by Dems. Steamrolling Sessions very well could have been plan B.

I don't want Barr to "destroy" Congresspukes by pontificating.

I don't want Barr to give speeches, to write articles, to give interviews, or to look good on camera.

I don't want to hear about endless "investigations" and the "integrity of the Justice Department."

I don't want to hear the promises of another future "Report."

I want justice - a justice that has not been forthcoming for nearly 4 years.

I want him to arrest, indict, and convict the coup plotters and D.C. criminals.

It's clear to me that Barr is simply running out the clock, and that Obama, Hillary, and the major players in the coup will skate away.

No. Nad's was lambasted by Rep. Jordan. Bill Barr calmly pleaded for a break stating he went without lunch and needed one. (Probably to take a monster pee.) His piercing blow to Nad's was when he stated he waited for him for 45 minutes at the beginning of the "hearing" because Nad's was late due to a car "accident"! Finally Nad's relented knowing he messed up.

I missed what Barr did....actually I thought Barr kind of got destroyed, although the Dems looked VILE and EVIL as usual.
