It fits and it is bad, but I still think the biggest stink to come is going to be wholesale spying on people for any reason they wanted. It was all done at the direction of Obama, but Presidents almost always have plausible deniability as underlings actually carry these things out “in their name.”

I am not sure the big bomb will ever drop because I don’t think the uniparty wants to admit just how bad surveillance has become and just how many people have access to it. There is NO DOUBT in my mind that the Obama administration abused the hell out of this and thought they had nothing to worry about with Hillary being certain to win - until she didn’t.

...give up a cell phone...

Now, we are moving and probably will opt out of a landline, so I need a cell phone.

I think if I get a flip phone and he never downloads an app, we’ll be relatively secure.

Naive? Is there no secure cell phone?

It would be “legal”, but it would be really dirty. It would mean that the outgoing President spied directly on the incoming administration and was part of the attempt to hamstring his successor and participate in the soft coup.

However, the media and the left will spin it to death, justify it with Russia, Russia, Russia, and probably ignore much of the story. While it will change a few open minds about Obama and Spygate, it won’t move the needle more than a few points.

I am not trying to be negative and I want to know what happened, but I am already outraged about it!

I remember the ejection of Russians was a real “huh?” moment for everyone. [Still] No evidence of “Russian meddling”, yet massive response ... which happened when Flynn was out of country.

Bongino’s explanation made sense.

I just don’t yet grasp why the insistence on entrapping Flynn.

Absolutely. His show today was what compelled me to post. I think it is important.

So...Obama tells Lynch to start monitoring the Russian Ambassador...Flynn leaves town to go to the Dominican Republic, Obama kicks out the Russians, the Ambassador calls Flynn while he is outside CONUS, and they have him.

I have been considering something even a little more sickening.

Bongino made the point that imposing sanctions on the Russians and kicking out the diplomats were two separate things, and were treated as such by both The Washington Post AND The New York Times. And nowhere in the call does Flynn actually discuss sanctions.

He discusses the ejection of the ‘diplomats’ which is a different thing.

When he talked to Pence and supposedly “lied” to them...did he really? I wonder now, because I wonder if Flynn saw the sanctions and ejections as two clearly different aspects of the whole situation, and when Pence asked him about whether he discussed sanctions and he said “No”...and was being honest.

They DID talk about the ejections and the “PNG” status (Persona Non Grata) which means they can NEVER return to the USA, but...did NOT discuss sanctions.

But the media drove that entire narrative. I wonder if they did that out of ignorance, or...if they knew that they were conflating the two aspects of the whole situation.

They’ve already tripped up and some of them going to fall. They’re going to feel the pain.

If not, it’ll mean they’ve succeeded in completely turning the whole concept of American justice into a manipulated ugly fraud by professional liars. Where laws are meant only for the little people with little means to defend themselves against the machine. If they get away with criminally compromising, undermining and attempting to over-throw a legitimately elected president, they’ll stop at nothing. Those with bad intent will only be emboldened.

Durham knows and Barr knows. And Trump knows.
And Durham has the power of a Grand Jury.
You may get away with telling lies on a TV show.
But u will not get away with telling lies in a Grand a Jury
under oath, as the cabal has been doing for 3 years.

Reading this again after more than three years and so much additional information. It looks like pretty clear that the goal is to blame Russia for a stolen election and then find complicity with the Trump campaign. It was a gamble, and they didn’t have the cards.

Legal only if they were surveilling a foreigner. Hard normally to prove they were targeting a citizen, but timing of events is strange (the odd expulsion of Russians over... what? and during the short time Flynn was offshore?), followed by the bizarre entrapment over something petty (discussed expulsions with Russian ambassador who called Flynn, vs discussed sanctions). They tried really hard to nail him for something, culminating in a strange guilty plea later revealed to be result of duress.

It’s all just too odd to be legal - and evidence is mounting it wasn’t. Flynn wasn’t a legal subject for the surveillance.

I never said the cabal would all go to jail.
And yes it might be very hard getting convictions in DC.
I don’t know enough about law to say if trials if there are
trials can be moved out of DC.
I posted that Bongino and Epcoh Times make a very
compelling case.
I do believe Bull Durham will get to the bottom of it.
What happens after that remains to be seen.
I can only suggest that all listen to his show at their convenience.
And decide for yourself if Bongino makes a compelling case.

Posting without having read the thread’s posts...

The interview of Admiral Rogers explaining what has to be done to unmask a US citizen is DAMNING. The number of people that have to sign off on unmasking US citizens, and the paper trail that is created by it, is enormous.

The constant refrain from Q, saying that the coup plotters and others are stupid, is making more sense by the minute.

There is either the required paper trails and proper sign offs,

or...

there is a HUGE gap of missing papers and signatures.

It’s one or the other. PERIOD.

Either a MASSIVE conspiracy was instituted,

or a MASSIVE fraud was implemented.

Either way, the scum traitors are toast.

The gamble was SHE, HAD to win, or the plot could be discovered, hence the “insurance” policy.

Now- we have the United States self immolating over COVID19, and draconian measures forced down the throats of law abiding citizens by tin pot dictators (rat governors) driven... by the same traitors, conspirators AND MEDIA’S conspiratorial cooperation.

As an Oath Keeper, from my perspective, the Rubicon has been crossed.

I will refrain from further commenting. Draw your own conclusions and use your own personal discretion.

I support our country, the constitution, and our way of life, and I pledged my life in their defense, against all enemies, foreign, AND DOMESTIC.

There is no expiration date to my oath.

Obama will be protected.

By the GOP.

Because they enabled the usurpation.

The GOP is the real insurance policy.

They have to protect him or they all go down.

Finding out that Flynn was vacationing in the Dominican Republic, Obama and his cabal set Flynn by using the following clause in the 1978 FISC law

Exception to Court Order Requirement: The President may authorize electronic surveillance to acquire intelligence information for periods up to one year without FISC court order where the AG certifies that there is "no substantial likelihood that the surveillance will acquire the contents of any communication to which a US person is a party" provided the surveillance is directed solely at communications among or between foreign powers, or "the acquisition of technical intelligence...from property or premises under the open and exclusive control of a foreign power" 50 U.S.C.1802".

On December 29, the Obama administration knows Mike Flynn is vacationing in a foreign country, the Dominican Republic and did not have secured communications. On that day Obama expels 35 diplomats in retaliation for their interference in our election nearly TWO MONTHS AFTER the election. They figure correctly that Sergey Kislyak will call Flynn in the Dominican Republic about the expulsions.

Obama has told AG Loretta Flynn to have Kislyak surveilled under this FISC clause. No court ordered needed if the call takes place between 2 foreign counties. They know the only call Kislyak will make to the Dominican Republic will be to Flynn, saving time and energy because there was no need to search through hundreds of Kislyak's calls. The transcript of the call is delivered unmasked. That's why the cabal didn't unmasked the call between 12/29 and 1/5 when they attended the White House meeting. They already knew. The next step was to sandbag Flynn by tripping him up on details from the transcript.

General Flynn was an outspoken opponent of the Obama war against the Taliban and the way it was being conducted (battlefield intelligence criticism), and was a vocal and loud critic from within the Obama Administration regarding their flagship accomplishment (in their minds) the Iran “pallets of billions” Deal.

That made Flynn a marked man. When Trump won, they had to find a way to defang and discredit Flynn so nobody would listen to him. Turn him into a pariah, an outcast, a branded liar, and saddle him with legal trouble to keep his head underwater.

I think his fate was sealed when at the date of the infamous “Pee Pee Tape” meeting between Trump and Comey at Trump Towers on January, Flynn (who was present) began asking Comey some very pointed questions about Christopher Steele’s sources.

When Comey left that meeting, he emailed CIA Director Brennan: “Some intelligence guy was asking pointed questions about Steele’s sources...”

Right there, that was when they likely decided to take the gloves off and go after General Flynn full bore. Flynn knew too much. He was an intelligence person. And he was asking questions that made them nervous, because they were going right to the heart of the illegal stuff they had been doing.

One more thing-and I have a gut feeling this is going to be the capstone that will crumble for the plotters on this: There was a critical, back channel professional relationship that Flynn had with a younger guy working out of the Pentagon Office of Net Assessments. His name was Adam Lovinger. He was a Whistleblower who lost his security clearance and eventually his job when his boss filed charges against him for mishandling classified material.

Adam Lovinger was shining a spotlight on the Office of Net Assessments, a black ops outlet. They hire “consultants” to write papers and such, but in reality, it is likely an outlet where money can be allocated to people who then perform tasks various agencies such as the military, CIA, or FBI may need. Lovinger was complaining loudly about the quality of the work that these “consultants” were providing for huge sums of money, much of it copied and pasted from the Internet, and even though administrations would come and go, Lovinger said the same people kept coming back and getting contracts. One of the people he shined a light on, complaining about large sums of money being given to him for little or nothing in return was...

Stefan Halper.

The same Stefan Halper trying to coax Papadopoulos and Carter Page into saying something incriminating.

The same Stefan Halper who showed up the day after intelligence cases were opened in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation on Papadopoulos, Manafort, and Page. And The same day another component of the Steele Dossier showed up at the FBI that discussed the contacts Carter Page and Manafort had with Russia.

This is the same memo that said that General Flynn had contacts in Russia and had recently been to Russia. But when you look at the memo, everyone else mentioned all had their names in UPPERCASE. At the very end, Flynn was mentioned with his name in...lower case. As if it had been added after the fact.

And it is thought by some that Stefan Halper was giving information to Steele for the Dossier, and that was a piece of it.

So...Adam Lovinger had a close professional relationship with Michael Flynn, Flynn had brought him to the White House and put him on the National Security Council, and Lovinger had been trying to get people to pay attention to The Office of Net Assessment cronyism and corruption, and...Stefan Halper was one of the key people he was pointing at.

Halper complained to Lovinger’s boss, who filed charges and had the NSIC conduct a probe into Lovinger’s handling of classified material. He lost his clearance and the job in the NSC, and when he went back to the Office of Net Assessment, his boss had his job “restructured” so it required skills that Lovinger didn’t have, and he was eventually forced to leave.

But wait, there’s more.

When the Office of Net Assessment was asked to provide the documentation in the Whistleblower accusations Lovinger brought against them, it turned out someone in the Office of Net Assessment doctored the email that they used to get rid of him. It said the NCIS found NO evidence of mishandling of classified material.

Magically, in the document the ONA used, the word “NOT” had been removed, and it read “The NCIS found evidence of mishandling of classified material”.

Pretty amazing, eh?

But wait. Not done here YET, if you are still reading.

Lovinger’s boss at the Pentagon’s office of Net Assessment sounds like a real asshole. His name is James Baker.

James Baker? Who is James Baker? Ahhh. James Baker was known for having a longstanding relationship of many years with David Ignatius, a reporter for the Washington Post.

David Ignatius? The same David Ignatius who was responsible for breaking the story about the Flynn-Kislyak calls?

What a coincidence...

They eventually

I am not trying to be negative...

Then stop being negative in your replies!

You don't have to post your negative thoughts but that is the very thing you do!
Therefore, one can only conclude that you are indeed being negative intentionally because you're expressing said negativity!
There is no "try". Just "don't do it". Curb yourself.

Just trying to offer some good advice. No offense intended.
