Police: Man brought gun to high school basketball game (Ahmaud Avery)

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A quick acting police officer in Brunswick stopped a teenager with a loaded gun from entering a high school basketball game Tuesday night.

Police arrested 19-year-old Ahmaud Marquez Avery (pictured below), who is not a student at Brunswick.

"The man ran through the parking lot. I tried to get him to stop as well. He would not stop for us," said Glynn County Schools Chief of Police, Rod Ellis. "We ended up chasing him to the back of the school were other officers helped us apprehend him."

Ellis said the .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun slipped out of the teen's pants.

Once you present your weapon in an offensive manner against another person, that person has every right to defend himself against you, including taking control of your weapon and shooting you with it.

Did he even bother to talk and see what was up? Because to me, it looked like he attacked before anything started.

I have no idea WTF happened in this incident.No matter what,dude should not have been killed BUT if someone tries to take a gun from me,he gets shot. The pics of the recent incident have Avery looking clean cut and all American and the two white dudes look like what liberals typically think and see of two white guys: father and son from that “racist redneck state” Georgia. And the guy in the back of the truck had his gun holstered and was seen in the video pulling it out only AFTER the perp attacked.
