BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A quick acting police officer in Brunswick stopped a teenager with a loaded gun from entering a high school basketball game Tuesday night.
Police arrested 19-year-old Ahmaud Marquez Avery (pictured below), who is not a student at Brunswick.
"The man ran through the parking lot. I tried to get him to stop as well. He would not stop for us," said Glynn County Schools Chief of Police, Rod Ellis. "We ended up chasing him to the back of the school were other officers helped us apprehend him."
Ellis said the .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun slipped out of the teen's pants.

This story is from when he was 19, only 6 years ago.
It’s really frustrating when your semi-automatic slips outa your pants. It might even go off.
So he deserved to be executed by three morons in pick up trucks because someone thought he trespassed on a construction site?

It’s really no surprise that Avery is dead. Fortunately for his family they won the Ghetto lottery in that white people killed him.

It's really frustrating that his droopy drawers didn't fall to his ankles and give him a sidewalk sandwich.
The video is grainy and shaky. To me it looks like he went after one of the guns. Don’t know about you, but if someone goes after a gun I am carrying, I am not going to just let the perp take it and use it on me. And from this 2013 incident, that is likely what would have happened.

If the courts refuse to deal with someone who is dangerous what recourse does society have?
Yeah, much rather the justice system handle this- but if they won’t who does?
Can’t speak for anyone else but *I’ve* never brought a gun to a high school basketball game.

Bringing a loaded gun to a game at 19 years old, speaks to his character, or more appropriately, his lack of it.
The picture at the site looks a lot more scary than the high school picture the MSM shows. It is sad how the MSM frame the stories to fit their agenda. Same as Trayvon Martin. Not saying these guys are innocent, but the media sure seems to be selling one side. They don’t show the high school pictures of the defendants.
You shouldn’t be brandishing your gun in the first place
They drew weapons against a man with no weapons, these morons are not cops
He had every legal right to defend himself at that point, if he had a gun, he could have used it and legally shot and killed the holder of the shot gun in SELF DEFENSE

Vigilantism isn’t the answer pal
Unless the gun was pointed at him, then no, he could not have done what you say. And because what we know is largely from the media, the facts are probably the opposite of what is being presented.
Remember what the media said about Trayvon? Curious if this story ever makes it into the light of day.
