...That jogger had every right to defend himself at that moment they drew the shot gun.
Look up and research brandishing

You need to gain a better understanding of self-defense law and the facts in this case. Seriously.
By the way, perhaps you should have the user name Crump.Deplorable in honor of Benjamin Crump.
Why didnt you post the picture of him as a younger man, looking happy and in a tuxedo for the picture? Better yet, find a picture of him when he was 13 and use that one. ;-)
I think you’re right about this.
The only video I’ve seen really doesn’t show very much but there are other things as well.
I think it’s pretty clear they stalked him and how did the video come about in the first place? My guess: someone saw them driving by the jogger and yelling at him probably not in a friendly way. This prompted the person to start recording what happened. The two drove on up ahead and waited for the jogger. They had a shotgun and at the very least intended to intimidate him. The exchanged insults. The events after that aren’t very clear because, like I said, the video that I saw doesn’t really show much. I don’t know if what happened was murder or possibly something else.
Yeah, this guy has a long record. He probably has a long juvenile record as well, but it would have been sealed or scrubbed. And he was “jogging” about 40 miles from his home. He was caught on security cameras “jogging” thru this same neighborhood several times, coinciding with prior thefts amd burglaries.
You need to know what is self defense, you cannot chase down, block, harass an individual, hold them for “citizen’s arrest” and shoot him because he defended himself against your unlawful ‘arrest’
Citizens arrest is on the books for serious violent felony crimes that you witness yourself and you hold the perp until the police show up. These are generally violent crimes like rape, murder, muggings, purse snatching, etc stuff like that. Not trespassing witnessed by your neighbor.
The alleged jogger had every right to defend himself against an unlawful action by a group of people who believed to be police officers when they were not.
Sorry, murder is still murder.
Lets not be so quick to convict. There is a thing called a trial. If found guilty then have at it.
Atlanta tv station WSB just spent the first 17 minutes of its broadcast talking about the injustices of this case and must have forgotten to mention this aspect. This case by itself has knocked the Chinese virus right off the nightly news except for brief mentions after the weather segment.
Will there be more evidence revealed which could make one seriously question the dead guy?
I don’t have the first clue. How about you?
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
So what you are saying is that we should stop posting threads like this attacking the dead man’s character?
I agree.
As you say.
These guys don’t rise to the level of vigilantes.
They’re just nuts (as far as we know now).
When will we see the pictures of the angelic 12 year old Arbery as he was on his way from turning his life around at school to church choir practice?
Yes, of course, but we all can spew our opinions and show off our Internet Law Degrees
Chasing someone down
Blocking their passage/escape
Brandishing a shot gun
Shouting that they “wanted to talk to him”
Claiming they wanted to make a citizen’s arrest
getting in an altercation
Shooting the man because he tried to defend himself against their unlawful actions
That is vigilantism
That is taking law into your own hands
Just like Trayvon, anything which does not reflect well on the perp will be buried.
The biggest morons are those who have not learned from the Trayvon Martin case or the Duke La Crosse case or the case of the “Gentle Giant”........
Sorry, murder is still murder.

Well, Im not going to argue with you. When this goes to trial, a great deal of evidence will be presented and shown to the jury in ways (e.g., videos shown in slow motion) that let them FULLY understand the shooting. And all elements of the law will be explained to the jury in great detail and repeatedly. The jury will either reach a verdict of not guilty or will be hung if there is someone like you on the jury.
Except most of the things you list are not facts. They are what you believe to be facts.
Bkmrk
Let’s address 2 of the more significant points you claim are “facts”:
“Chasing someone down” The dead perp was the one who attacked. It is clear from the video.
“Blocking their passage/escape” The dead perp had clear paths to run away in all directions and yet he chose not to. Instead he chose to attack a person holding a gun. He chose poorly.
It is synopsis of what went down, a bullet point list of what happened.
Sure the jogger tried to grab the shot gun, but did the holder of the shot gun have license to hold the man at gun point? He isn’t a cop and he can’t make a citizen’s arrest since he himself claimed he didn’t witness a crime (in Georgia it needs to be a felony/immediate danger type of crime, not just trespassing through a construction site)
“Shooting the man because he tried to defend himself against their unlawful actions” Once the perp got his hands on the gun, they each had their hands on the weapon, the dead perp is no longer “unarmed”.
