Earlier in the week, I highlighted some polling data indicating that support for various gun control measures is on the rise -- and that public attitudes are shifting toward the general notion that guns, not mental health or beefed up security, should be the focus on public policy to prevent mass shootings. Well, let's look at another fresh data point in this larger national debate, via NBC News and the Wall Street Journal's pollster. Are Americans becoming more hostile to the idea that gun ownership makes people safer? They are not:
Unlike the numbers I showcased a few days ago, this trend has been heading in the opposite direction. In other words, while gun control advocates have made strides in favor of certain reforms at the relative margins, they're losing the fundamental debate about guns (especially regarding the most common category of firearm owned by Americans). Oh noes! HuffPo, Newsweak and unNational Interests polls say the opposite. And Yahoo suspended comments. Asian pundit Sum Ting Wong doesn’t believe the MSM polls.
They may have a hard time getting them. Possibly someone is ID-ing and photo-ing these crazies and putting them on the “NO BUY” list since they obviously can NOT be trusted around firearms.
Neither does Ho Lee Phoque. Not sure about Ding Bang Pow or We To Lo.
This is a situation where the Left will never win. The gun culture in this country goes back to its roots and is very ingrained. The firearm industry in America is hugh and gets bigger everyday.
The leftists are getting desperate as of late. I wonder why that is?
They’ve been hammering away constantly with calls to disarm the public, for our “own good.” To hysterical pitch no less.
We see them trotting out their useful idiots, marching and calling to make our streets, schools, and cities “safe.”
And all of the democrat stonghold cites are everything but “safe.”
Like I said, the socialist-democrats are getting desperate. It goes beyond exploiting a crisis. Their window for taking complete control seems to be in jeopardy. Expect them and their MSM propaganda wing to really ratchet up the gun confiscation rhetoric in the near future.
The brand of Left that has taken control of the Democrat party is extremist and very authoritarian, and its members have no problems with guns at all so long as they’re the only ones in the room with them. Nor do they have a problem with everything from personal jets to walls to political surveillance so long as they’re the only beneficiaries. What is taking place in DC today is a carefully orchestrated campaign on the part of the wealthy and the privileged, and they have no intention whatever of giving up their access to anything at all.

Even with our low cost Samsung Android phones and Google Search, we can photo id people and often find them via Google search.
Mr. Hoggs resort to profanity in a recent interview was a tell that he’s frustrated and not getting what “he” advocates for. (At his age, “he” is an simply an agent for the world view that he’s exposed to). The profanity is also probably an echo of the language he’s exposed to from the people he’s trying to please.

The explosion new guns and new gun owners aren’t exclusive to pubbies.
because their ruse to impeach Trump over Russia has fallen apart before their eyes and they need a new issue for the 2018 elections. Dummy Hogg just spilled it in his little speech. One one hand he says he respects gun ownership and on the other demands people vote out gun ownership supporters.
Meanwhile you have a bunch of elitist PUNKS calling for GUN CONFISCATION..yeah that is what they want! So as much as Republicans in Congress/Senate absolutely SUCK right now, just think about it for a minute, if the left wins in November, you can say adios to your guns..like Hitler said, the best way to control people is to disarm them..easier to kill

That may be plausible, although there’s more to their current frenzy than just that. It’s more than just trying to rile up their base. The socialist-democrats are going all in for confiscation and disarmament. No government wants to disarm its people for any good reason.
