He’s under the false assumption that kids have a right to privacy outside the bathroom. Apparently his father never removed his room door or stripped his room down to a bunk and a desk to reinforce that point.
But if they don’t like clear backpacks, they can join the ranks of other problem schools and have them banned altogether. Books kept in each classroom. Nothing through the door but a pencil and a spiral notebook. The kids want to feel safe and want order, they deserve an adult version of safe and order.
