HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Hillsborough County man is charged with murdering his step-son, then forcing the boy’s brothers to sleep in the same bed with the body all night.
31-year-old Jack Junior Montgomery is being held at the county jail on $870-thousand dollars bond. He is accused of repeatedly punching and kicking 7-year-old Brice Russell.
Montgomery told investigators he disciplined the child after Brice got out of bed to get a cookie.

No. I’m not feeling anger. Now, if it was my child, it would be difficult to not feel anger, but it wasn’t.
My anger is reserved for the fact that we are in a lost and fallen world where a human being can even get to the point of doing such a thing. I see the man as “pure” natural man, and still a “child” in his mind. He has no concept of the feelings of others. Hence my reference to childlike narcissism.
I actually feel bad for the perp. But worse for the children, who are almost certainly damaged by this, and possibly in such a way as to follow in his footsteps. If they do, should I be angry at them when they do?
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. This man is in a very bad way, and he’s allowed it to affect others.

Well, if your religion means you can’t feel anger towards some sub-human who beats a child to death, I’m glad I don’t share it.
You can’t possibly be serious.
If FL doesn’t have the death penalty, move him to another state that does.
Why can’t he just be killed today? To hell with lengthy due process. He did it, we know he did it, he admitted it, there are witnesses, he knew what he was doing, he has a history of violence, he is not fit to live.
So why can’t he be killed today? Where is justice for the child and society? Why should we or anyone else pay to allow him to live one more hour?
I know I am being unrealistic but shouldn’t justice against this animal be quick? Why shouldn’t he be lynched?

Maybe it’s just my age. I just don’t feel anger regarding people acting badly to other people. I feel sadness.

Child Unprotective Services is a breeding ground for step familes, fatherless families. The heightened family violence gives the organization a reason to survive.
Shut it down and return to voluntary groups.

I’m not willing to let this guy breathe freely for another moment so he can do this to another child, or YOU.

I feel great sadness for the perp as well as all the kids affected and the mother. Sin is very costly, and rampant.
