[Vanity]: Did anyone watch Hannity's interview with GW Bush tonight?
7/4/17

Posted on 07/04/2017 8:05:27 PM PDT by Maceman

I turned on Hannity and saw that tonight's show was dedicated to interviewing GW Bush.

I'm a Hannity fan and usually watch his show, but I didn't watch tonight because I didn't have the stomach to listen to Bush.

Just wondering if anyone watched it, and if so, what Bush had to say about Trump and what he is facing, and about the issues facing our nation today.

Anyone?

Show was repeat from March. Interviewed a number of vets featured in book Bush wrote(painted). Nothing about Trump that I heard.

It was a repeat from months ago. Nothing to do with Trump as I recall.

It was a re-run from march

I caught bits & pieces, but this was more like a suck up to dub more than anything from what l saw.

Only reason l watched is because l couldn’t find my channel flipper.

Saw that it was a repeat so I turned it off. I also turned it off halfway thru the first time as I remember it was boring as hell.

I no longer really care what W. has to say.
I used to feel very differently and had much admiration for the Bushes. Now i see them as One Worlders who want someone like The Clintons to control this country again.
W. has an odd tendency to patronize or suck up to those politicians who have rhetorically , publicly cut him to ribbons. Where goeth your pride, Mr.Bush?

Dubya should have defended his presidency after Obama came in. That did not mean that Dubya should dictate what the new prez. did, just defend his record. Instead, he has been out embracing Michelle and all of this stuff.

The press beat up on Dubya, this is why I love the Trump presidency, he pushes back. It’s about time.

All the drama George W. Bush generated after 9/11 in speechmaking and policy was a distraction from the true source of the terrorism problem.

This item as posted on FR in the last hour or two. Its about the UK but it points right back to the root of the problem as in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I didn't watch it not because of any animosity towards W, exactly. It was more because a lot of his paintings are of wounded Vets. If he hadn't gone into Iraq (IMHO) a lot of these heroes would be ok. In addition, if he had slapped down some his democrat and media critics a la Trump, he wouldn't have been in such a subservient position for 8 yrs. That continues even now. that whole damn family is too polite for their own good.🇺🇸

The consensus on FR today (the Bushes are a one-worlder crime family) would have got any FReeper banned in 2002.

“The consensus on FR today (the Bushes are a one-worlder crime family) would have got any FReeper banned in 2002.”

We know them better now. We’ve seen their fruits.

Sentient beings incorporate new information.

I gave up on W when he and his father hooked up with the Clintons...remember Haiti. Bill Clinton used him for a fool.
And don’t forget his deal with Ted Kennedy. Remember what Thatcher said about Bush I...”Don’t go weak kneed on us”. W followed in his father’s path...if it wasn’t for Cheney and 9/11, we would still be screaming about his Presidency.

The truth is W and his father were both very disappointing. Nothing remotely like Reagan.

There’s a darn good reason Republicans stopped voting for Bushes. The last primary was a solid reproof.

I started to watch, but it was so totally BORING that I switched back to the Fourth of July music and fireworks show in our nation's capital (an excellent show, by the way).

I understand your sentiments. GWB should have kept his d@mn mouth shut instead of criticising President Trump. I’ve been really disgusted with GWB lately.
