Sunday on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” host Chuck Todd said President Donald Trump’s executive halting immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries to the United States “established a religious test for refugees from those Muslim countries.”
Todd said, “On Friday President Trump suspended the U.S. refugee program for 120 days, closed the borders on passport holders from seven Muslim majority countries for three months and barred Syrian refugees indefinitely. And Mr. Trump established a religious test for refugees from those Muslim countries allowing an exception for Christians and others from minority religions.”

Well first of all, he's wrong. The "religious test" clause is for holding public office, not being an immigrant. Secondly, a sh*t I do not give. I do not care if there is a official religious test for entry in this nation. Why do we want more people from third world hell holes anyway?

Now, we know that the Resident Obama declared those 7 countries dangerous and blocked air travel for 6 months, before Trump became President Trump..
Trump did not specifically block muslims, hindus, and/or Christians. He said no one as per Resident Obama did, can come by air to America from the Lucky 7 countries.
Will the liberals/mediots/pundits demand that Trump include people from Saudi land, Afghanistan and Pakistan to be PC?

Good of you to educate the masses, Chuck. A religious test has indeed been a factor for asylum seekers since it was codified in immigration law in the 1950s.
Why can’t all the Muslim “refugees” go to rich Muslim countries? Why can’t Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Dubai, etc. take them all in, pay for their living expenses and put them on a path to citizenship in those countries?

If Trump’s EO is a muslim ban, it is not a very good one.
The prohibition against laws restraining the free exercise of religion is not absolute and never has been.
Just like freedom of speech has never allowed someone to yell fire in a crowded theater.
Polygamy was outlawed, even though it was claimed to be a part of the Mormon religion.
Today in the US, Christians can by law be forced to bake a cake or take photographs at the wedding of two homosexuals, even though contrary to their religion.
I guess according to an extremist like Chuck Todd, we would need to allow infant sacrifice, ritual cannibalism and priests ripping live human hearts out of a person’s chest, as these have all been part of the exercise of religion.
But in fact, freedom of religion has and can only mean within the ambit of American values, which are founded on a Judeo-Christian basis.
We need to have Congressional hearings on the compatibility of Islam with American values.
The belief that apostates should be killed, that blasphemy should be punished even by death, that infidels if not killed must be discriminated against with special taxes, that men must be allowed multiple wives if they wish, etc. are derived from the Koran and are widely believed to be proper in the Muslim world.
We know that MSM “journalists” like Chuck Todd are not honest people but anti-American propaganda artists, because while arguing for freedom for Islam, they are always trying to undermine and restrict the exercise of Judeo-Christian beliefs.
I would support it if it were possible. It’s not, because there is no way to prove what religion one belongs to. The person can ditch the beard and the bomb vests, swear that he has only 1 wife and leaves the goats alone at night, but you can’t be sure that is the truth.
