He should pick Mike Pence, he had previously endorsed Cruz and would be a good pick to bring Cruz supporters in without having to nominate Ted himself.

Me. I’d make an awesome VP - they get to preside over the executions of their ex-opponents. It’s in the Constitution.
I voted “other”.
I would like to pick Palin, but just don’t see that as realistic.
None of the others on the list appeal to me at all.
All those choices suck.
Not Palin. That dipstick already was on the ticket, which lost.
I wish he could find an acceptable, strong black woman as his VP. Not Condoliza, but some other who would be in sync and line with Trump’s announced position statements.
But anyone else who is strong, fairly well known, and strong on these positions and knowledgeable.

None of the people who are now trying to nail this down, were pro Trump to begin with.
They want to force on him someone “to balance the ticket”.
The absolute last thing we want is someone that will help water down Trump’s message.
It’s his choice. He’ll make it when he is ready.

Why not ? He runs his own affairs, loves this country and all of the people in it, and will take up the slack on Trump’s lax actions on the 2nd Amendment. For me ? A dream team.
But seriously without insulting the message I would pick Sarah Palin, seconded by Ron Paul, thirded by the ghost of Norman Schwarzkopf. Because I would follow that man into hell.

Chris Christie. I am not a Christie fan but Trump can take NJ and break the back of the Dems EV advantage.
On Jake Tapper’s (horrible) show, at about 4:03 pm, they reported a rumor that Rob Portman, Susanna Martinez and Nikki Haley were at the top of the list of people under consideration. At 4:05 pm they reported that Portman was not interested. Don’t know who floated that trial balloon but I doubt any of those three will be his running mate.
I believer Newt passed all of the contract.. and in the first hundred days.
