Maybe they mean Cruz rose to #2? Thing is, it seems to have happened because some Rubio support went to Kasich.

The only place Cruz is close is Kansas. I would expect him to win that one.

Astute. And in keeping with my conspiracy theory of the past few days.

By laying off Kasich, and letting him "win" the debate (which I think he did) Trump has enabled Kasich to eat into Rubio's votes.

It's all about Florida. A stronger Kasich means a weaker Rubio in Florida.

I don't think Trump even cares if Kasich wins Ohio, because I think he'll be the VP selection. After the Florida and Ohio primaries on Mar 15, they make the deal.

I’m running on down to the caucus to vote Trump. It’s the best I can do. Trump leads, but it’s the bible belt as parts close to Oklahoma support social conservatives. I imagine they go with other’s but they dropped out.

I think that's why Trump is going there instead of CPAC. I think Trump is probably up in the weekend's contests in KY, ME, and LA.

If he can get KS, too, that reinforces an image of inevitability heading into Michigan. If he takes Michigan, then Florida is a given.

See my post above on why Trump doesn't care about Ohio so much. At least for now.

The multi billion dollar dog pile continues - fox business is a wall to wall prosecution - and he rises. The people of Michigan know what the politicians have wrought - they don’t need to go to cpac to find out. Go Trump! Go USA!

The revolt against the establishment is a glorious thing to behold. As Rich Lowry himself said, albeit with great sadness, “The Destroyer Cometh”.

The message at this point is clear. The message to Romney, McCain, Rush, Levin, the GOPe, supporter of all the other candidates.

After yesterday, it goes for everyone. You have a choice. If you support the front runner you will get a wall out of it. If you do not, you will get nothing ever again.

We’ve been saying it for years and now we’re going to be heard. You get a wall, or nothing. Ever.
