A new Orlando-area tourist attraction has opened up to add to the long list of other theme parks. But its unlike anything youll fins at Disney World, Universal Studiosm or Sea World. Its called Machine Gun America.
It allows participants to fire live ammunition from fully automatic weapons.
Everybody has something they always wanted to try, General Manager Bruce Nierenberg told local CBS affiliate WTSP Channel 10 News. This would be on peoples bucket list to try it and have a new experience.
If you think that’s awesome — which it is — wait until you get to this next part:
Not everyone is thrilled with the idea of the 13,000 square foot facility being planted within the Mecca of Floridas family-friendly theme parks.
Youve got Holy Land right there in Orlando. Youve got Disney World, and Epcot, said Lucia Kay McBath, a member of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense, All places for family fun where they should feel protected.
But it would appear that McBath is among the minority. The station is running a poll where it asks participants Do you think its okay to allow kids as young as 13 to handle high-powered machine guns?
Over 76% voted “Yes.”
I love this country.

I’ve never fired a machine gun before. Well, at least I’m pretty sure I haven’t.
If I were in Orlando, I’d pay to give it a try.
Lets have Bang Up New Year
At the cost of ammunition today, I can see $20 gone with the pull of a trigger.......LOL!
50 cal?
20 mm gatling gun?
Magazine Mickey! LOL
Several places in Texas that do the same. I suspect you can find gun ranges that rent full auto in most states that lean to the conservative side.
No minors, period. Too many tactical problems including liability and safety issues. Maturity is also not sufficiently developed enough pre age 21 with the children iof our society and age. Just my.02
Hopefully they have learned from the experience of other ranges and are taking appropriate steps.
—several in Las Vegas, too—
^ before you jump I’m talking about automatic weapons only.
I can see some liberal activist taking his daughter or son to the range and engineering a firing mishap or even sacrificing his own children to shut down the facility and literally take a bullet for the cause...
Last Christmas Jeremy Clarkson was in Florida talking about how great America was because he found a resort where he could shoot clay pigeons from the balcony of his hotel.
I'm guessing $5 per bullet.

Yeah. As if “Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense” give a rat’s patootie about HolyLand
That kid was as likely to have done that with a semi-auto handgun. It was far too much gun for her to handle.
The ones I have been to treat Class III the same way as semi-auto.
All shooters must be over the age of 21 or be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian at all times or provide a completed third party minor release waiver

RE the picture of Michael Rodent: When SGT Mr. niteowl77 Jr was still SPC Mr. niteowl77 Jr, he had the misfortune of being extraordinarily proficient with an M203 one fine day, and that piece of pipe was subsequently hung around his neck (figuratively) when he was in that unit. I told him that based on what people had told me, he'd probably have liked the M79 even less.

From the websites I’ve read, average is about a buck a round for pistol-caliber small arms, anyways. 30 rounds in a few seconds, but I’d go!
