This is true. The US underestimated ISIS when it reelected Obama. Indeed, when it elected him in the first place.

Exactly? There is no “we”. It was Obama that played politics and chose to ignore advice and skip briefings. That deals with a year ago. However he can’t even say that regarding what has happened in the last four months. All of us have watched unfold via media reports. He still refused to do nothing.
He and other idiot Congressmen over have their heads in the sand about the threat of illegal immigration and ISIS being able to come across our Southern border unopposed. I’m guessing they will only take it seriously when there is a mushroom cloud blooming where the WH was just standing....the Chinese understood the need for the Great Wall long ago. George Bush has been gone for almost six years now. There is no way that liberals, if intellectually honest, can blame the threats posed by ISIS on Bush, or on something Bush did, or on something Bush didn’t do. The liberals’ guy has been there for almost six years. The statute of limitations has expired on blaming inherited problems for our problems today.
Does anyone ever remember Reagan and his people constantly blaming their problems on issues inherited from Jimmy Carter? I think this president and his followers have hit a new low in so far as nothing is ever the fault of him or his policies. There is always someone else or some outside force to blame for whatever Obama is dealing with.
The problem is that the daily intelligence brief that every president receives every morning interfered with Obama’s golf schedule.
Obama does not realize that as of this moment, he is the figure-head of the United States.
If the United States didn’t know, he is actually saying, “I’m one clueless bastard folks!”

To be expected. There is NO WAY one can possibly believe Obama would NOT actually say “U.S. underestimated rise of ISIS in Iraq and Syria”, rather than admit his own failure.
What do you mean the US underestimated ISIS when it reelected that arrogant pos? Did you sit the 2012 election out or did you vote for some third party candidate? So don’t blame me and the other 60,933,499 who voted for our nominee
No Brak, YOU, McCain and company created ISIS with your funneling weapons through Benghazi to Syria, arming al-qeada in Syria, and trying to pull there what you did in Egypt.
