You really have to read the labeling. I purchased a can of crab meat and to my surprise it was packaged in Indonesia. Returned it for a refund.

So we can’t butcher our chickens in our country any more? Of course, the Chinese food processors, who kill children with tainted milk and our pets with tainted pet snacks, will take our chicken, butcher it, and ship it back to us, while they eat their contaminated chicken. Only Obama is stupid enough to believe this.
They are deathly afraid of bird flu in China, for good reason, so what did they give our USDA in payment for our healthy chickens? What carrot or stick was given to U.S. poultry producers to sign off on this outrageous deal?
We will not buy chicken that is labeled as being processed in China, so will they label it, or is “mystery meat” part of this rotten deal?

of course, all of the economy is an issue, this is a public health issue as well as an economic issue. I will no longer eat a chix I have not met personally prior to processing.
Unfortunately the labeling is pretty much worthless anyway. Additives in food don’t have labels and most of them came from somewhere else.
Like the pet food. The wheat gluten came from American wheat that was shipped to China where they made the gluten and added the melamine before shipping it back to us.

The reason I ask is that the “dark meat” in the chicken thighs I can buy looks a lot more like the meat from chicken breasts than it did even just a few years ago. The meat still has more fat than a chicken breast but the meat is very white.
Something has changed with how we raise and feed chickens and at least for me it is a little scary. I’ve cut down on eating chicken as a result.
If the chicken isn’t going to be labeled from China—then I am not going to buy chicken anymore. That will be a problem because I use chicken to cook my dogs food.

Yes, I am worried about chicken. I am worried about any food or skin product from China. Skin lotions, toothpaste, etc., get into your system just as food does.
Read all labels, buy nothing from the grocery store or ‘Dollar Store’ that China as country of origin. China has very poor controls on all products.

Our Congressional "representatives" and Senators have chosen to turn a blind eye to the goings on in DC. They have chosen to breach their oaths of office and allow America's enemies both within and without to dismantle America piece by piece.
At this point, if America were a car, we would be without wheels. Our battery was removed and sold for lead scrap. The interior's been shredded. The radio's torn out of the dash. The rearview mirror was ripped from the windshield. The electrical wiring's been salvaged and sold for the copper. The oil pan is leaking from the gasket, but that doesn't matter, because the oil was drained long ago, the fuel was siphoned out of the gas tank, and the radiator blew out and leaked coolant all over the road when Obama was elected to a second term.
The progressives have used and continue to use every possible avenue to destroy not just America and the idea of America but the actual American people are now targeted for extermination through the forced use of garbage insurance, death panels, and now questionable poultry. They literally want to kill off those of us who work hard and LOVE being American to replace us with the dregs of societies around the world and specifically central America where crime is a way of life.
