Arabs will never be able to govern themselves.
Yes, and many suffered severe wounds as well.
Islam sure has a lot to be proud of.
We rebuilt schools, infrastructure, give girls the chance to get an education...
Did Allah hate his people this much? Makes you wonder.
4486 Americans died to give these people a chance.
It only took one to throw it all away.
What a waste of men and money. At least Hussein was a counter balance to Irrran. Ain’t hindsight wonderful?
Islam is a cancer on the face of the earth. It’s being allowed to metastasize by an extremely weak western civilization.
Liberals think they can “corrupt and coopt” it like they have done everything else.
Good. Ungrateful crazy bastards deserve each other.
They miss The Butcher of Baghdad.
Sunnis bombing Shi’ites probably.
And the mind-boggling STUPIDITY of that idea still makes me want to throw up.
Those people needed Saddam to keep them under control and from blasting each other to bits. They need the threat of government force to tone down their violent, savage natures.
Now that they have “democracy,” there is no restraint and we’re seeing just how brutal, uncivilized and violent they are.
Several years ago I angered some family members by saying that these people would never be able to live in democracy. I didn’t apologize, and now it’s obvious that I was right.
And Iraq is now within Iran’s orbit. What a waste.
Hate to say it, but Iraq under Saddam was far more stable than this mess now.
We spent massive amounts of American blood and treasure... and for what?
Exactly. Muslims, being the chaotically violent, subhuman species they are, need powerful, iron-fisted rulers such as Saddam and Hafez Assad to keep some semblance of order and prevent them from destroying everything around them. Muslims don't understand participative governance... they understand brute force. It calms them and gives them a sense of security.
Sha’ab and Ur again. I spent quite a bit of time in those neighborhoods. Sha’ab is fairly dense urban, Ur has some urban but also a lot of open, undeveloped ground. Sha’ab is also kind of the ghetto. We always got harassed by Jaysh Al Mahdi out of Sadr City in there (they didn’t like to attack us in Sadr City since that’s where they lived).
