That's what some defeated House candidates from 2012 are hoping, at least.
Several failed candidates who ran strong campaigns, but fell just short last year, are back for a rematch this election cycle.
Whether they can use lessons learned in their losing campaign to change next year's results will go a long way in determining which party gains seats in the House.

What have you all heard about Wayne Stovall? Understand he has mentioned that he might try to run against Cornyn. Saw an initial article but nothing further.
I can’t find anything on him. Are you sure you have the name right? Perhaps you mean Wayne Christian?
Katrina Pierson is a big Tea Party leader down there who worked with Cruz. She should consider a run.
He stood up with McIntyre and Rahall against Amnesty.
Rahall needs to get in Manchin’s ear that his gun bill will get no hearing when the GOP Civil war starts.
Any chance that Lt. Col. Allan WEST will take another crack at it? I keep getting appeals for donations to his cause, so I suspect he might be thinking about it.
The Dems and Establishment pubs worked together to oust him (getting rid of him was a high priority for both parties), and the election and re counts were suspicious at best with the old reliable boxes of mysteriously “found” ballots being rushed in at the last moment and a bought off judge ruling that they had to be counted while military absentee ballots were apparently ignored, as they usually are.
They finally ran West out of money and lawyered him down.
That’s pretty much how Al Franken the clown got “elected”, isn’t it?
I’m not so sure now that Palin has completely abandoned her political aspirations. She seems to be hovering around weighing her options.
A West / Palin dream ticket might get the old base out - but the establishment will never let that happen, will they?
The fix has probably been in for the 2014 and 16 elections for years now. Vote any way you want; the outcome is predetermined.
Don’t know anything about him.
West has stated he might be running for an as-of-now undisclosed office in 2016. Some speculate he’s looking to primary Rubio.

When I got back from a few days of vacation I had over 400 emails. One of them was from a website called STOP AGENDA 21 IN TEXAS. It included a link to their website: www.stop21texas.com which had an article on Wayne Stovall with a statement saying that he was either thinking about or was throwing his hat in the ring to run against Cornyn.
Apparently he does have his own website and Facebook page. I looked at his website briefly and don’t recall that he has ever held office before. Haven’t seen anything about him on any other sites and just haven’t had time to check further. If you get a moment you might want to take a gander. It’s really early yet but Cornyn has been building his warchest for several years and will be difficult to oust - but nothing is impossible.
I quit trying to communicate to Pete. Best way to get info to him may be through joshdaniels@mail.house.gov. Josh is one of his clerks - seems frustrated with Pete but may just be a front.
Sent an email to Cornyn on his web site concerning IRS, food stamps and huge increase in SSI payments. Got back a response thanking me for my recent request and giving me instructions on how to arrange for a visit in his office in DC. Somebody either selected the wrong response letter number or didn’t engage their brain when they sent the auto response. Not only does he never read a bill, he never reads any of his mail. Clerks seem to handle all of the mail.
Wayne Christian is very conservative but was repudiated by his own district “Republican” voters in the 2012 primary. He has no statewide recognition.
I believe it costs $5,000 just to put one’s name on the ballot against Cornyn. People in TX think he is “conservative” and are clueless about his record.
This may be the most accurate observation of a decade or even a century.
Yes. Cornyn has also been pulling the old RINO sidestep, trying to make voters forget about old votes he took.
We do have our share of low information voters to be sure. He spoke at a Lincoln Day dinner to a packed house. There was a standing ovation for him. Everyone one but me and two other people stood up and applauded and cheered and one of those was wheelchair bound.
Very, very clannish area and they decide who they will let in to run in any local election as well as for Senator. We have a Democrat mayor who has been around forever and will remain mayor until he decides to quit or dies.
Tough to make any changes.
Barrow is a scumbag. Rahall is a scumbag. And McIntyre is a scum bag. These sacks of poop are called enablers and are occupying seats that rightly belong to conservative Republicans not dirtbags who voted Pelosi when in counted.
I was surprised that Jackie W barely won, Romney easily took that redraw seat. I guess Donneley could have had coattails. He won’t be on the ballot this time.
I think Gary Miller will probably lose and hopefully that can be the only seat the rats take from us, if he does, none lost would be even better.
I thought Romney helped in Utah, but did he? He drove turnout up, lots people came out to vote for the first Mormon and not all of them were conservatives. Lower turnout I think is a good thing for us there. Love needs Utah county to come through.
Rep.-Elect McSally was elected to the House last year, that was theft. It’s time to go back to contesting elections on the House floor, when was the last time? 1984 with that Indiana rat? They can vote to seat McSally and get rid of Gifford’s minion.
Al Frankenstein set the standard for corruption, followed by the likes of that drunk who cheated Allen West out of his seat, and many others.
Well technically the election was stolen on his behalf, not by himself. ;d Sigh. As I said we can overturn these stolen House races as long as we have the House majority but these wussies......
Imp, you’re so subtle. At least once, I wish you would tell us what you REALLY think and not mince words. :)
Gotta keep them cards close to the vest. ;-)
I disagree, that’s loser talk.
