GEICO Insurance Cultural Marxist Hypocrisy – Gun Manufacturer Auto Policy Cancelled Because He Is In Firearm Business….

Because he makes gun parts for a living this policy holder received a letter from GEICO cancelling his auto insurance. The letter says his auto insurance is being cancelled because he owns a company that manufactures parts for firearms:

“The reason for cancellation is your vehicle [...] does not meet our underwriting guidelines because it is used in conjunction with a company that deals in the weapons industry“

OK, well, take a look at this:

You could be right as well. My main point is that we don't know all the facts, and I don't think that knee-jerk reactions without all the facts are all that helpful.

Re: the date of the letter, you could be right, again. But, another possibility is that this type of thing--that is, GEICO and other insurers rejecting/cancelling commercial policies because their underwriting guidelines don't cover certain industries--happens somewhat regularly, but it was only noticed and publicized in this instance because of the date and the current "debate."

Boycott

A normal boycott isn't going to work in this case.

Let me tell you what I think will work:

Every armed citizen/NRA member calls Geico up and requests a quote for insurance. (Note: do NOT identify self as a NRA/gun owner.)

Make Geico "do the work" and generate MILLIONS of quotes for millions of people.

Then, simply tell Geico "not interested" because of their anti-gun stance.

That'll be millions of quotes generated at Geico's cost with zero revenue being realized.

The most effective boycotts cost a company time, money and labor. Make Geico generate millions of quotes (there's a cost to them for that...)

If enough people (millions) do it, and do it enough times, they'll get the message.

Nope. I used to be insured by GEICO, but switched late last year after they completely botched a claim I filed. I have no love lost for them. I just like to have some facts before reaching a conclusion. That, and there’s enough misinformation about this story already (e.g., people assuming this was a personal policy when the document clearly says GEICO commercial) that I am skeptical.
