GEICO Insurance Cultural Marxist Hypocrisy Gun Manufacturer Auto Policy Cancelled Because He Is In Firearm Business .
Because he makes gun parts for a living this policy holder received a letter from GEICO cancelling his auto insurance. The letter says his auto insurance is being cancelled because he owns a company that manufactures parts for firearms:
(fyi, to insure the authenticity I have submitted a copy along with a request for verification to GEICO via email well see their response)
The reason for cancellation is your vehicle [...] does not meet our underwriting guidelines because it is used in conjunction with a company that deals in the weapons industry
Get that?
OK, well, take a look at this:

I wish I had GEICO insurance so I could cancel it.
Boycott
Looks like I’m going to cancel my policy now.
Guess the lizard and the pig are toast.
Me too
A former Marine and former police officer that I go to church with has been giving concealed weapons classes for years. He told me last Sunday that his insurance policy was cancelled and he could no longer offer shooting classes. What will it be next - you own guns and they will not insure you?
Wow! GEICO will be hearing from me!
So this is how it’ll start. Just like smokers & cigarettes, gun owners will be ostracized until public opinion slowly turns against us. I guess Eric Holder was right when he said people need to be brainwashed into viewing Guns differently.
This country is over. Our best days are behind us.
Looks like a Gecko is about to die a slow death of a few million cancelled policies.
Anti American Scum!
It’s pretty freaky when you think that GEICO wouldn’t have a business if they didn’t insure one of the biggest killers in America. The automobile.
Let’s find out where this commie dirtbag lives and cut off his food, water and energy. It’s called ostracism.
Time to drive these commies into forts and see if they can hold out with no supplies.
I hope it is a fast death - GEICO - Government Employee Insurance Co. - run by a bunch of socialist dingbats...but that Gecko sure is sweet!
Couple this with what banks are doing to dealers & manufacturers in terms of freezing and closing accounts here witness the Beast of Obama’s Marxism.
THIS is how they will achieve confiscation.
Don’t turn in your firearms, you don’t get to have a bank account, insurance etc.
Now we know how it started with the Jews some 70 years ago.
Class Action suits quickly.
Anyone in the Military, former Military, or in the family please check out USAA Insurance. Been there for 50 years!
No problems and lowest rates.
Ping!
GEICO= Warren Buffet
While USAA is oriented to insuring veterans and their families, in a situation like this I suspect they would be willing to extend their services to this gun manufacturer, assuming he is not a veteran.
And USAA is the very best insurer, and almost always the lowest rates.
Well, I was going to switch to them, now I have requested a ‘confirm or deny’ to this story from a local agent; we will see!
They are convenient and not too expensive; I was not aware of their background and loyalties.
EP
Sounds like a great niche business opportunity to me.
If existing banks and insurance providers won’t cater to the firearms industry, why not start one that does?
yep, Buffett owned company.
no surprise.
I’ll be cancelling mine.
What tools.
That’s exactly what they are up to. You will not be able to live, unless you comply with the socialist creed.
Oh my, the opening salvo of trench warfare in the classwars.
“...but that Gecko sure is sweet!”
Looks like a varmint pest to me: SHOOT IT!
It looks like all DOD Contractors will be cancelled.
Regulation will prohibit you from doing so.
The Free Market no longer exists. We have MarxoFascism now.
Are you not paying attention to what is going on out there?
Is Normalcy Bias this insidiously rooted in our own people?
I suspect this is just a matter of liability. Insurance companies end up holding the bag and defending their policy holders when they are sued. It would seem GEICO is choosing which liabilities not to be exposed to, which is their business.
Sounds like the NRA and GOA need to start selling Auto, home, gun insurance policies.
Looks like Geico is trying to do damage control before this goes viral.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/geico.asp
There ought to be a website that lists all these AntiAmerican Companies/businesses and public officials at Any level.
It’s high time to shine light on all the Fascist/marxist/commie enemies to a Free people!
Call it the “Enemies of the States”.
Same here. Any suggestions of alternatives?
Too bad that lizard is not real. I have some ideas.
Looks like a commercial policy. I don’t know what is standard for that. Not that I’d buy Geico anyways.
At least Snopes classifies it as undetermined.
So are you saying his accent and polite ways are just a fake???
The precedent is now set and confirmed by SCOTUS that the Federal Behemoth has absolute control and authority over mandating who, what, why, where and when of insurance.
That is what the “Legality” of ObamaCare was ultimately decided upon.
Insurance is now a product of government mandates. So, good luck anyone trying to capitalize on what in the old days would have been a great opportunity.
And owned by POS Crony Capitalist and Friend of the Dear Leader - Warren Buffett.
That there is called back peddling. He was notified his policy was being cancelled, not asking for clarification of coverage. They must have watched Hillary testify today.
Too little, too late. Maybe they should ask them how going anti-2A is working for the Eastern sports show.
Why does his car insurance company know what his business is?
About the only business that might know of my interests, is VISA.
If they want to drop me, they’re easily replaced.
Here’s Geico’s explanation:
“We spoke with the policyholder in December and there was some misunderstanding/confusion on our part on how he used the vehicle. We have reached out to the policyholder and hope that we can clarify usage of the vehicle and continue his policy.”
This appears to have been a Commercial policy, not this guy’s personal auto insurance policy. Many insurers have limitations on the types of industries they will insure, for liability reasons, not political ones. Firearms and ammunition tend to get lumped together for underwriting purposes, and some insurers won’t insure companies that transport either, again for liability reasons.
From what I’ve read, GEICO’s commercial auto division is largely focused on non-industrial businesses. It may just be that this type of business is outside of their desired risk profile.
I don't know if that's the case here, but if he had a personal auto policy on a vehicle he was using primarily for business, his policy would have been cancelled regardless of the industry.
I'm not saying that's what happened here, but I don't think that possibility can be ruled out quite yet...
Unless you live in Massachusetts. Some Dem puke representative has introduced legislation to force gun owners to carry liability insurance, up to $100,000 for each firearm, only for cases of injuries resulting from AD.
Not for cases involving purposeful use of said firearm. I will not comply if this becomes law...before I move out of this state.
“If existing banks and insurance providers wont cater to the firearms industry, why not start one that does?”
Unless you have deeep deeeeeeep pockets both are out of the question.
;)
I wonder if they insure drug dealers who carry firearms. LOL
“Why does his car insurance company know what his business is?”
Because it’s a commercial insurance policy.
Saved a bunch of money today moving my policies to Erie Insurance. Check it out if you need to change. GEICO has made their decision. They saved me a LOT today.
Cancelling a Geico policy is so easy a caveman could do it.
