According to financial experts (Dave Ramsey included), slightly over 90% of all working Americans are one paycheck from financial disaster. Over 90% of working Americans are making at least one house payment (possibly two, and dealing with an ARM they can't afford), two car payments, two credit cards on which they make minimum payments each month. They carry an average of $20,000.00 in consumer debt, and are putting at least one youngster through college on credit. Plus, both husband and wife must work to simply keep the household functioning (if that's even a good term for what they do!). They're literally one paycheck away from financial disaster.

So when you get a spare couple of minutes, go to a local cul-de-sac neighborhood and get out and look around. Stand there and count the houses around you and remember that at least every 9 out of 10 (which are occupied!) are suffering the problems outlined in that last paragraph.

Everybody thinks they understand the problem with finances here in America and how to fix what went wrong. But they don't. Our leadership won't be honest about the problem, much less come up with a solution that will fix it. How can they fix what they won't admit to be a problem? I can't help with that last question, but I can tell them what the real problem is. The REAL problem is the relatively small percentage that do NOT fall into that 90% mentioned above. The remaining 10% is a peculiar crowd and our leaders and experts should be paying attention to them, but they aren't. This 10% comprises those who either own everything outright, or own everything except for the single house payment that they're making. This 10% carries no consumer debt. They do however carry several months worth (some carry several years worth!) of liquid cash in case of emergency. They prepare for the unknown, and they have planned accordingly in this world where nothing is guaranteed. They live within their means and losing a job is a mere bump in the road. To miss a house payment is unthinkable. They will have moved into more affordable (rented) living space long before ever coming close to missing a house payment and having to take from financial sources slated for other areas.

This 10% also comprises small business owners here in America. Ordinarily, this wouldn't be a problem under any other set of circumstances, except that small business here in America does approximately 90% of ALL business nationally!

On the 4th of October of 2008, the United States Congress started a financial siege with the 10% mentioned above. They probably don't realize this, but nonetheless, this is what has occurred. Through their own mismanagement, they have brought this nation to ruination and then validated their own ineptitude and lack of ability to the only small percentage of Americans who could have helped...that 10%. We the 10% realize the fullness of their corruption and have absolutely NO confidence in our current leadership. The future leadership isn't looking much better either. Since our economy is based on fiat money, the government leadership needs desperately for us to spend. But we aren't spending, because we have no confidence in those making decisions which obviously won't help the situation. We are at an impasse. The 90% can't spend because they can't get credit like they could previously. The 10% won't spend because they have no confidence in leadership. In truth, the 10% is spending, but only on necessities. Plus, they're converting more American dollars into precious metals and other intrinsically valuable things. Small business owners have gone into cash only mode where they're actually doing a LOT of business, but not as far as the IRS and tax authorities are concerned!

If I were going to start a siege with any group of people on this planet, the 10% mentioned above is the very last group that I would start it with. Our government leaders desperately need time! The 10% can wait for a long, long time! It is my personal opinion that they can out wait the government in this situation. The 10% is the only group here in America who has actually prepared for a situation like this! Plus, most don't realize that this 10% also comprises those who store food, weapons, ammunition, silver, and other intrinsically valuable items that will remain valuable no matter how worthless our paper money becomes.

Unless our government leaders simply come to terms with the gravity of the situation, the 10% will ensure that the nation heads into a full blown economic depression, without actually meaning to facilitate it. We're watching this progression now. Not many have the courage to admit it, but this is exactly what's happening. Can the government admit that it must do something it's very uncomfortable with (personal sacrifice)? I don't personally have high hopes for our leadership, current or future. In fact, I don't have high hopes that the Union survives this ordeal intact. Eventually, there will be no great benefit for states remaining in the Union and people will start acting in larger groups but in their own self interest irrespective of federal desires. This is inevitable.

Now to all of you who clamor for, and predict civil war. You just want to shoot something. Keep talking. Especially here on-line. The federal authorities will find you and "obviate" you long before you become any credible threat to them, and they'll use somebody like me to do it. Don't think that Free Republic will deny their web server logs when presented with a court issued subpoena. I wouldn't expect Jim Robinson to go to jail for you or I, and frankly, why should he? From the time you post your poorly chosen words to the time that somebody such as myself can have armed law enforcement on your doorstep, well under 72 hours will have passed. This can actually take only a few hours if they want you badly enough. In case you haven't noticed, those who actually have experience in war want nothing to do with it, and hope and pray that it can be averted on American soil. Civil wars have never been started because of the likes of what we're going through now. However, it's probably worth noting that civil wars HAVE been started over food (or rather the lack thereof). Bearing this in mind, it's worth noting that the farming industry here in America is heavily subsidized by the government. It can NOT operate at a profit without the government. At what point do farmers decide that it's more profitable to work in their own self interest, or simply do something else? This is worth watching closely, especially with masses of dim witted people who believe that chocolate milk comes from brown cows; a people completely disassociated with where their food actually comes from.

Finally, as for all of you here who dare the ATF, FBI, and any other "sanctioned" three letter agency to come take your guns...

I've seen far too many threads here where people talk about what they're going to do when sanctioned authorities show up at 2:00 A.M. wearing kevlar, tossing flash bangs, and firing sub guns. I'll tell you what you're going to do. You're going to die. The question isn't how many of the JBTs (Jack Booted Thugs) you're going to take down with you. Oh I'm quite certain that some of you will actually take a few with you. You're still going to die though. The question is how many of you are willing to fire on JBTs from the rear when they're assaulting your neighbor's house?! This IS the question! I've asked this question enough times to know the answer, and the answer is rooted in the 90% who are SLAVES to the nice house in the nice neighborhood that they just HAD to have....and the nice cars....and the liquid cash from the credit cards....and the general lack of discipline in exercising delayed gratification. The real question is, "How many of the 10% are willing to fire on JBTs from the rear for somebody in the 90%?" Those who read this will know there is truth in it, and and the truth is that none from the 10% are willing to help those in the 90% when it comes to any real sacrifice. Why should they? Most of the 90% is unarmed anyway, and don't believe in personal accountability (evidenced by their spending habits!). They went into debt for the home alarm system and closed circuit T.V. that interfaces to the home LAN and their PC, but couldn't seem to muster the fortitude to purchase an AR-15 and a suitable store of ammunition. This same 90% wouldn't dream of living without good locks on their doors (in spite of the reiterating to me that they live in NICE neighborhoods)! If the neighborhoods are so nice, then why even lock the doors? There is a serious division in this nation right now between the 90% and the 10%, both materialistically and philosophically. I personally believe we're going to see a shifting of classes here in America. The poor will truly become poor....as in Third World Nation POOR I can't envision exactly where the 90% will end up when the dust has settled (so to speak), but slaves usually have very little say in how they get moved around by circumstances in their lives.

If anybody has read this far, I'm certain I've offended you in one way or another. I'll make no apologies for this. You're probably wondering what my point is. My point is this. Reaping and sowing is a principle of God's providence. We never reap in the same season that we sow, and we always reap much more than we sow! What we're seeing happen now in America is the reaping of what we've sown. Simply consider the leadership preparing to take the helm of this nation and it should be apparent. Then again, a lot of things should be apparent.

Call on the Lord during these troubling times. His name is Yeshua and he IS the Son of The Living God. His very name means that He is able to save. Separate yourself from this nation and listen to the Lord and do what He says, because this nation is being sifted. The cries of injustice against the unborn, evil exhibited through homosexuality, and aggression toward God have come home to roost. Of course our leaders are too blind to see it, but you don't have to be. Trust the only One who can help through what's coming. Even the 10% won't be able to store enough, save enough, or stockpile enough. Most of them already know this.
