We’re told she collapsed and hit her head and got a concussion, and that’s why she can’t testify about Benghazi this week. And we’re supposed to just take her word for it.

That’s not the case with either Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who puts up excuse after excuse to avoid testifying on the U.S.’ biggest foreign policy failure in Libya, while her would-be successor, John Kerry, wins plaudits from the media despite a long record of anti-Americanism and bad foreign policy calls.
Clinton claims she can’t testify for Congress on Thursday because she fell down over the weekend and got a concussion. Maybe so, but thus far no one’s seen a medical report. What’s more, it’s the second time Clinton has put off crucial congressional testimony about the murder of a U.S. ambassador and three other U.S. officials by Islamist terrorists in Benghazi, Libya, last Sept. 11. The previous time, she had more pressing business, tasting wine in Australia and checking up on East Timor.
It looks like avoidance of responsibility to preserve her own political viability.
It certainly does. If she has a concussion, let’s see the medical report. Let’s see some proof that she’s not just stonewalling. If it’s true, then we can all wish her a speedy recovery. But it’s ridiculous to expect us to take her word for it.
What’s that you say? You don’t think that’s fair? All the paranoid wingnuts should shut up? Oh, I’m sure you’d say the same thing if this had happened between 2001-2009, and Colin Powell or Condoleeza Rice kept putting off testifying about it. You wouldn’t demand a doctor’s note then, right?

If she was seen by a doctor, I believe that would have been sufficient. However, the doctor could have just as easily given her a LEGAL EXCUSE to not have to appear before Congress.
This woman is so deceptive, I doubt we'll ever know for sure.

It is not believable that the Secretary of State who falls and has a brain injury (bruised brain) that she would not have a CT scan. That is the least a prudent doctor would have done....along with a complete neurological examination, blood tests, and X-rays to rule out a depression fracture or linear fracture...if this happened at all. I have not heard of any such tests having been done. The senequinon of an epidural bleed is a lucid interval...a period of time from the time of injury until the manifestations of neuological injury. This may develope 6 hours or 6 days after such a bleed. Yet, no CT Scan. It does not add up to the truth.

I expect crapola from the Clintons. It's getting really hard to put up with the absolute incompetence of the press. They should be asking questions.

Bubba’s “fall down the stairs” was a cover story so he could hide his Peroni’s surgery. He got his twisted dick straightened just in case he had to show it to somebody during one of his Bimbo Eruption trials. Post surgery after having his groin worked on caused a limp...therefore he “fell down some stairs”.

The concussion could be a delayed reaction to the bombing/shooting on the tarmac of her Mid East trip a few years ago. You remember the one. It was the one where millions of people had weapons(including Flamethrowers) and directly confronted Hillary. Luckily she hid behind a small child handing her flowers and all was saved.
Evidently, her mom Eva Braun suffered from similar episodes.
Maybe she got it dodging sniper fire in Bosnia.

I seem to recall jokes about that vacation being called “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”...
Had Hillary actually injured her head, it’s unlikely she would have been just “seen” by a doctor. The celebrated Secretary of State, next President of the US, first female President, smartest woman in the world, surrounded by Secret Service agents for life, thanks to Bill arranging it before stepping down, would have been Code 4 motorcaded to an upscale hospital with full media escort, had the ER cleared out, and every MD and specialist within thousands of miles at her side, while the entire world held its collective breath at this brave woman battling for her life, with update reports every 15 minutes.
Nothing happened. She’s relying of the time-tested tactic of mafiosi worldwide to bee too sick to testify, but will miraculously recover the day her appointment runs out. Bill, the former capo of Arkansas, likely provided the advice. It’s exactly what Carlos Marcello would have done.
