The Mayan calendar may have run out on December 21, 2012... or not. However, it appears that the American calendar ran out on November 6, 2012.

Feeling extremely cynical of everything and everyone as a result. Tea Party, FReepers, DUmmies, GOPe, DemocRats, Libertarians, they’re all the same. This country has turned into a “I'm always correct, everyone else is an asshat” society. The MSM is the Nazi press, Fox and other “alternative” media are Pravda.

As a result, I believe 10% of what I read in the MSM and maybe 15% of what I read in the alternative media. As always, the real story is somewhere in the middle (Oh, G-d, I used "that" word here!)
