Sign Petitions to Secede

Sign petition to allow your state to secede from the Union. If the White House gets 25k signature they must investigate and respond. Texas already has theirs.

It’s a good way to protest and get attention.

I for one would not think of getting attention by signing such a petition, as many have said, those signing could be put on some undesirable list.

I did review one of the first petitions, I believe Louisiana, and most signatures at that time were not from Louisiana. I cannot see how signatures from say CA, NY, MT or whatever validates a Louisiana petition.

And as another poster said, the White House does not have authority to grant secession. The Civil War era I believe each individual state held a convention or referendum where the people of that state approved succession and drafted a document accordingly and succeeded without anyone’s permission.

I just looked at the list, not who signed them. It is still over half the country. For what ever the reason(s) behind the petitions.

Exactly so! That's what I would advocate rather than separation from the union. It's possible (a slim chance, but rather that than blood) that if enough states resist federal mandates, they become unenforceable paper, capable of doing no citizen harm.

Yes, people from other states have signed our petition. Texas already has enough to trigger automatic review. By signing other states petition, you can help them over the hump.

I’m sorry, but the decision to secede doesn’t need presidential approval! These petitions are stupid. Let’s just do it people. Start a tax revolt in this country that starves the beast of its blood.

“Advocating overthrow of Government”

Secession isn’t sedition. The tenth amendment guarantees the sovereignty of the states. The federal government did not create the states: the states created the federal government and it’s by this principle that the states can un-create it by removing themselves from it.

Your US Code falls short of addressing the sovereignty of the states.

I am proud to be on the Obama s#!t list! I am honored to be in the company of other like minded patriots. As a freeper, an NRA member and for various other reasons, I’m sure I’m already on some “list”. When the time comes that our government starts going after people on lists, It is time to “vote from the roof tops”.

You are absolutely wrong. The Founding Fathers exerted extensive efforts for more than a year to avoid the necessity of declaring independence. It was only the British Crown’s insistence upon abrogating the Royal charters and the lawfully constituted colonial governments that provoked and made a necessity of rebelling against a British Government in which the colonists were deprived of legislative and reasonable judicial representation.

Subsequent to the gaining of independence, the Founding Fathers as leaders of the new confederation and then federation of states were challenged by rioters, insurrectionists, and rebels. In each instance these Founding Fathers observed how the rebels were not in the same circumstance as the colonists were in the War of Independence, and therefore the rebels confronting the United States Government and the state government had no legitimate basis upon which to claim the same causes as the rebels in the War of Independence.

Likewise, the current fashion for secession is illegal, immoral, and without any right to claim the justifications used in the War of Independence. On the contrary, the would be secessionists in effect advocate a course of action that would wrongfully alienate individuals, families, businesses, and the common cefense in furtherence of the enemy desier to bring about the disunion of the United States as part of a divide and conquer strategy. Every person who advocates this illegal secession is giving direct aid and comfort to the Obama Administration, the Democrats, domestic Communists, foreign Communists, and other belligerant foreign governments and organizations.

Worse still is the fact that secession, even if it were not illegal, serves no useful purpose whatsoever in combatting the malfeasance in the domestic governments. Instead, advocating secession is akin to shooting a hand off to let the hand drag itself off and leave the rest of the body behind. This can only be described as one of the most stupid and foolish acts of unnecessary and unproductive acts of self-destruction imaginable.

Why then would anyone with half of a working brain for one moment choose to help the Communist agents provoke such self-destructivee measures?

The Soviet constitution expressly allowed the constituent republics to secede. The Baltic states made noises about actually doing so and were - big surprise - occupied by Soviet military forces and sat on pretty hard.

The mutterings did signal a wind change however. Just a few years later the Soviet Union was too bankrupt and unpopular to get the troops out of barracks and keep the Soviet Union alive. Dissolution along natural cultural, historical and ethnic lines followed. The Soviet Union is no more, and on balance after some shock the people of the former Soviet Union are for the most part better off with the death of the overly centralized and restrictive Soviet government.

The United States is not -yet- destitute enough for this to happen, but one can see it from here. In the mean time, there is no doubt that the federal government can and will cheerfully extirpate anyone they wish who presents any dissent they are not willing to indulge. Demonstrating that will and ability was the point of the exercises at Ruby Ridge under a Republican President and Waco under a Democrat President. Presently, like the Soviets in the mid 1980s, the federal can and would ‘send in the troops’ That will not always be the case, however.

For some the United States is sacrosanct and is effectively a god, like Roma. This is ironic given the position of the Founding Fathers who did not make a fetish or cult of a dead and counterproductive system. Their perspective was timeless:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

Anyway, on this day during this year, secession or dissolution is going nowhere.

Both times, those unfortunate events involved ATF (and federal marshalls in the case of Ruby Ridge), not regular US Army soldiers. And Randy Weaver ultimately won his battle (altough at teriffic cost), and a nasty explosion at a federal building exactly two years after Waco put the kibosh on that kind of government ham-handedness, at least for a while. When real soldiers (as opposed to security forces) are turned against the common people, it tends to boomerang against the government that sends them—this was true during the Novocherkassk riots in 1962 (Soviet soldiers sided with the riorters) and in 1989 when Romanian soldiers fought against the security troops.

As a number of sources have reported, the Soviet KGB and its post-Soviet successors have remarked, their goal was to provoke and incite the disunion of the United States and the outbreak of a civil war. The Communist Party USA is gleefully observing the current events and advocating a revolution and a violent revolution in direct violation of a number of Federal laws.

It is a customary tactic of the Communists to use agents masquerading as members of their enemies’ communities to provoke improper conduct useful for propaganda purposes and for inciting riots, insurrection, rebellion, and other civil disorder. Since it would be useful to the Communist goals to incite unrest by advocating the secession of the states, you can be highly confident that one or more of the people suggesting secession among disgruntled conservatives are in fact Communist provocateurs attempting to lead unsuspecting conservatives like a Judas goat leading lambs to a slaughter. Doing so helps sway public opinion in favor of the Communists and Democrats while dividing and intimidating the remaining conservatives.

It is also to be expected that the Communists will not hesitate to use one or more of their moles among the conservatives to perpetrate a false flag and violent attack against the Federal and/or state governments for the express purpose of triggering one or more of the Federal legal codes and thereby implicating the non-violent people also advocating secesion in the actions of the violent acts of the Communist moles. The Department of Homeland Security has already gone to extensive efforts to villify the TEA Party members and the naton’s political and religious conservatives. This was the setup for an attack upon those communities upon the occurrence of a violent false falg incident. The advocacy and a Communist mole’s perpetration of a false flag secession crime is jsut the sort of incident they seek to bring about a reaction by law enforcement against conservatives advocating secession, illegal or legal.

So, the point is that advocating secession, peacefully or not, is assisting the Communists, the Obama Administration, and the Democrats to attack and severely damage the conservative community.

The states can be alienated from the Union only in the same manner by which they joined the Union. Secession can be accomplished only by the consent of Congress and ratification by each of the states in the Union as set forth in the Articles of Confederation Article XIII and the U.S. Constitution Article IV.

The advocay of secession is regarded as subversve, seditious,, and/or treasonous conduct if and when it is accompanied by some combination of armed attack, violence and perhaps in support of a foreign enemy with respect to treason. Thos people who think they are in a safe zone because they believe they are non-violently protesting may be in for some very rudde surprises if and when a Communist and/or other enemy agent provacateur provides the necesary violent incident/s necessary to justfy law enforcement’s reaction against all people who advocated secession, peacefully or not. At that point some people are going to be asking what was supposedd to be so innocent about peacefully addvocating secession, which can only be detrimental to the conservative movement, all U.S. citizens, and the effort to remove the corruption from the Union of the United Sttates.

The crimes you cited involve advocating for the destruction of the U.S. government by force or aiding its enemies. These petitions are requesting peaceful withdrawal from the Union and do not advocate or seek to overthrow the federal government by force. It’s merely a request to separate peacefully. “You go your way, we’ll go ours. Good luck to ya.” That’s not a crime.
