Representative Duncan Hunter wants to deport the U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants.

Hunter, who spoke at a tea party gathering in Ramona Saturday, said he does not believe children born to illegal immigrant parents should get automatic U.S. citizenship.

In a video posted Saturday on YouTube, Hunter appears to be taking questions from the crowd when he is asked if he would support the deportation of children born to illegal immigrants.

“I would have to,” he said.

“It’s a complex issue and it’s… you can look and say, ‘You’re a mean guy, that’s a mean thing to do, that’s not a humanitarian thing to do.’ We simply cannot afford what we’re doing right now,” he said. "California’s going under.”

“We’re not being mean,” he told the crowd. “We’re just saying it takes more than just walking across the border to become an American citizen.”

DUncan D really is a chip off the old block.

Meanwhile, RINO capons have been trampling each other to get to the mic first to condemn Arizona's new law.

Citizen or no, if we deport the illegal mommy and daddy then don’t the kids generally go with them?

They choose too, often. But others stay with aunt Chalupa or Tio Borracho until mom and dad can sneak back in.

If the parents are deported, their dependent American born children under 18 must go with them or a legal guardian appointed under existing law.

And said children can come back when they turn 18 and run for president when they reach 35. And a constitutional amendment is required to change that.

I think we need to do all we can to encourage the family to remain togethers. Children grow up best in a house with a mom and a dad, be it here or in Mexico.

If the kid is a citizen, I welcome him to live in our country for his/her whole life.

The parents, if they are here illegally, have to go.

I would favor giving the kid a free passport, allowing them to return when they can.

Well, that’s the leftwing argument - ‘you can’t send mommy and daddy back to Chiapas because little Frijole is a US seeeteeeesun’. SO indeed, send them all back and kill off this anchor baby fantasy in the meantime.

I agree with her.

Sorry, just because your baby is a citizen (by virtue of Mommy and Daddy violating our laws); doesn’t mean that the extended family gets to stay. Send Mommy and Daddy home - if they want to take their baby, that’s fine ... he/she can return anytime.

No, the democrats prefer to break up families by sending the parents back to wherever they came from and the kids stay, probably with relatives in the US. That's not a problem because liberals are firm believers in the "it takes a village" to raise a child...parents optional.

.
They don’t get citizenship.

That is a lie perpetuated by the globalist media.

Their parents must be here legally, and fully under the laws of the US for the children to have the option of citizenship.

That is what the court said, and it is what the 14th ammendment says.

The media don’t have the power to set precedent.
