UK: NHS recommends pupils have an 'orgasm a day' to reduce risk of heart attack and stroke
The Daily Mail (U.K.) ^ | July 12, 2009 | Daniel Martin

Posted on 07/12/2009 12:04:09 PM PDT by Stoat

The NHS is telling pupils they have a 'right' to an enjoyable sex life in a leaflet being sent to schools.

It encourages them to consider an 'orgasm a day' as a way reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke.

And if they can't get sex, the leaflet says children should consider masturbation.

The advice appears in guidance circulated to parents, teachers and youth workers. It says experts have for too long concentrated on the need for 'safe sex' and loving relationships - while ignoring the main reason people have sex, for enjoyment.

But family groups condemned the guidance last night, saying it would encourage children to have underage sex and could lead to rising rates of sexually-transmitted diseases.

Around 40,000 teenage girls fall pregnant every year in the UK - the highest level in western Europe. More than half end up in abortion.

The leaflet has come to light just a week after it emerged that a £6million initiative to reduce teenage pregnancies more than doubled the number of girls conceiving.

The Government-backed scheme tried to persuade teenage girls not to get pregnant by handing out condoms and teaching them about sex. But a study in the British Medical Journal found girls on the scheme were 'significantly' more likely to fall pregnant than other girls.

Now criticism is focused on the new leaflet, entitled Pleasure, which has been drawn up by Sheffield primary care trust.

Even though there is zero scientific evidence that an orgasm a day prevents heart attacks....its just another example of pervert adults getting off on kids getting off.
But as a side note, only one a day? Oh wait they aren't Italian.....

Author Steve Slack, director of the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health and NHS Sheffield, denied the document promoted underage sex.

In related news, spokespeople for B. Hussein 0bama denied that ACORN had ever engaged in criminal behaviors and stressed that it's members were 'just as patriotic as anyone else'.

The Family Planning Association suggested that pupils should be shown explicit videos of masturbation at school - but family values campaigners said the proposal was nothing more than the promotion of pornography.

It encourages them to consider an 'orgasm a day' as a way reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke.

And if they can't get sex, the leaflet says children should consider masturbation.

First, one would be curious about the rate of heart attack and stroke among pupils...probably zero!

Secondly, this is a horrible idea. A clever little boy is going to take his letter to a clever little girl and see if they can help each other out...all for the sake of better health, science and the NHS, of course.

Of course liberal government grants them that 'right' ay? Just wait until they make it part of the cirriculum--just like in 'Brave New World' kids in school could go and have pleasurable time with each other.

“Around 40,000 teenage girls fall pregnant every year in the UK”

Perhaps I am rather sketchy on the basic biology but I don’t think pregnancy is something that just happens. This makes it sound as if pregnancy is rather like getting wet in a thunderstorm. Really who can control the weather it just happens?

Really really low so that must prove their plan is working, right?

pregnancy, abortion, disease are all high. They need another expensive study to determine the reason for that.

The cost of sexual permissiveness far out weighs the cost of such bug bears as tobacco use, obesity, environmental quality, etc. The total once you add in the cost to provide for the resultant children, the resultant disease, the prisons for those resultant children who are born to broken homes and the cost of the chaos such lost children produce in acting out is trillions of dollars. No one seems to care. It isn’t a religious issue it is a costly issue.
