Slouching Toward Columbine: Darwin's Tree of Death

I've long been fascinated by the image of the Tree of Death, parallel to the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden and cryptically referred to in mystical texts explaining the Hebrew Bible:

The image, and today's gruesome Columbine anniversary, provide an occasion to reflect on Darwinian evolution's social consequences, from school shootings to Nazi racism and more.
Charles Darwin's theory of evolution with its Tree of Life is applauded by most sophisticated Americans and Europeans as a scientific idea pure and simple, without the aura of dread and terror that, properly, should surround it in our minds.
Why should we so regard it? Not necessarily because of any judgment about whether the idea is right or wrong as science, but rather because of the uncanny way evolution has had of supplying the rationale and creating the backdrop for the most twisted, monstrous social movements that have sprung up in Western culture in the past century and half.
On April 20, 1999, two boys at Columbine High School in Colorado massacred 12 fellow students and a teacher, wounding 23 as well before shooting themselves...

Sad to see the event being turned into and used by the anti-gunners “hoping for change” that only government and politicians should own and control all the guns.
I was not aware of this link, but of course it is not surprising. The Darwinists love to equate humans with animals, so this connection was necessary for these boys to dehumanize their victims enough to carry out such a slaughter. It is interesting how quick the media are to blame it on video games or inadequate gun control, but of course they would never touch the government schools' obsession with Darwin and their banishment of God.

Observe that Timothy McVeigh, the murderer and terrorist, was a hero to Klebold and Harris.
Observe all three facilitated the same goal... for the very thing McVeigh allegedly sought to oppose.

Yup- they love to equae humans to animals, and also to turn right around and espouse subjective morality- they can’t even make up their minds which it is that they want- either they condemn the acts because of objective morality, or they stop their crying because they think the boys were just acting on their ‘animal instincts’
The one htign about the liberal media is that they are NEVER EVER satisfied- always whining about something- they whine about the moralities of the fundamentalists and the Church, then whine about the ‘immorality’ of those that commit acts liek Columbine- my conclusion is that it must really stink being a liberal

those two boys were extremely troubled, what they did was horrible, and it in no way should be linked to darwinism, video games, marilyn manson, bullying, high school cliques, or any of the other inane theories surrounding their actions. what it boils down to is that their parents sucked at their jobs and did not realize the extent of their children’s problems. perhaps with an active parent in either one of those households this tragedy never would have happened.
gun control, record label warnings, video game warnings, self-esteem classes and anti-bullying seminars will do nothing to prevent tragedies like this from occurring. the only prevention is good parenting which we obviously cannot guarantee.

Sorry Box, the so-called Darwinian “theory” of evolution is so full of holes, even the Evos are abandoning the HMS Beagle in search of a new God-denying evolutionary ship. I was referencing the growing chorus of Evos who realize Darwood’s materialist creation myth is being falsified by science on all sides, and thus they are now (and increasingly desperately) calling for a NEW EVOLUTIONARY SYNTHESIS.

Trying to score anti-Darwin points on the backs of the Columbine killers cheapens both the evolution debate, as well as the Columbine shootings. Congrats on that.
