Michelle Malkin: Anarchy in the USA by ACORN
The Modesto Bee ^ | February 19, 2009 11:21:58 PM

In tandem with the Bad Borrowers Bailout, Obama's old friends at the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now are launching a "Home Savers" campaign. As with most of the bully tactics of the radical left-wing group, it ain't gonna be pretty. They are the shock troops on the streets doing the dirty work while the Community Organizer-in-Chief keeps his hands clean.

Trumpets ACORN: "On Feb. 19, ACORN members will launch a new tactic in fighting foreclosures: civil disobedience. Participants in the ACORN Home Savers campaign nationwide will simply refuse to move out of foreclosed homes, or in some cases, will move back in. ACORN homesteaders intend to squat in their homes until a comprehensive, federal solution for people facing foreclosure is put in place."

It's a recipe for anarchy. Threatens Baltimore ACORN's Louis Beverly: "After you've used all your legal options, your last resort is civil disobedience."

Instead, ACORN offices, funded with your tax dollars, are training teams of "Home Savers" -- described as "people ready and willing to mobilize on short notice to defend the homesteaders against attempts to evict them." Ready, willing and able to mobilize on short notice because they are either unemployed or employed full time as ACORN shakedown artists.

Guess who's encouraging them to defy the law? Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, who told them: "Stay in your homes. If the American people, anybody out there is being foreclosed, don't leave." The housing bullies will be assisted by left-wing propaganda documentarians at the Brave New Foundation, headed by Hollywood lib Robert Greenwald, who will disseminate sob stories to crank up pressure while Obama pushes his housing entitlement plan.

Why not YOUR home since you were just “lucky” to win life’s lottery?

And don’t forget the Digital Divide’s free internet for everyone because PORN is a basic human right.

Evict ‘em and torch the place if they return. Give them 10 minutes notice and firebomb it.

A few rounds of that, no more squatters.

At least one Democrat stated he voted for the stimulus package against his better judgment because he was told there would be rioting in the streets otherwise. I’m guessing this was the community organizer-in-chief’s threat and it was organized ready to run amok had the stimulus not passed. Now it is available to enforce statis quo until the provisions kick in. We now live in a thugocracy.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors—To Break Into Vacant Houses

Poverty rights activists broke into at least a dozen vacant Minneapolis buildings this week and helped homeless families move in.

"This is the modern underground railroad," said Cheri Honkala, National Organizer for the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign, the group organizing the "takeovers."

This week's actions are part of a growing national movement to illegally open up thousands of vacant, foreclosed homes to provide housing for the growing number of homeless people. Over 3,000 Minneapolis homes went into foreclosure in 2008. Advocates estimate that over 7,000 Minnesotans are homeless. Most Twin Cities' homeless shelters have been filled to capacity for months.

I'm not surprised. The country is in chaos, right under the noses of a lot of sleeping Americans. Well, maybe they are beginning to wake up.

Also, the bailout, as written, doesn't just include those who stand to lose their home mortgages, it includes renters in homes set for forclosure AND...any renters who stand to lose their housing and become homeless because they can't afford rent.

Where’s all the liberal celebrities with their millions that could help the poor?

Never mind, they only spend someone else’s money, not their own.

Silly me.

Instead of RICO charges that should extend beyond Acorn to their accomplices in Washington... they’re handed billions of taxpayer dollars...

These ACORN people scare me. They are like Fidel’s thugs, who went house to house during the revolution confiscating all the property of the middle class. They took all the husbands and fathers to the Soccer Stadium to be shot; sent the kids to re-education camps; and threw the mothers and widows out onto the street.

Think it can’t happen here? Think again.

Very scary.

No wonder gun sales and ammunition sales are through the roof.
