Nevada state authorities seized records & computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud. Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, told FOXNews.com the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote. "Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were...

It seems that Senator Obama's Old party was called the New Party. The party was a Marxist Political coalition. This was not a guilt by association thing. Senator Obama sought out their nomination. He was successful in obtaining that endorsement, and he used a number of New Party volunteers as campaign workers. Read more on the Marxist endorsement that Barack Obama sought out: Co-founded in 1992 by Daniel Cantor (a former staffer for Jesse Jackson's 1988 presidential campaign) and Joel Rogers (a sociology and law professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), the New Party was a Marxist political coalition whose...

Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now ACORN: The Poisonous NUT That Ended Democracy in America By Cristi Adkins Saturday, October 4, 2008 Within its shell, ACORN contains all the makings of an intriguing government political conspiracy movie: drama, injustice, organized crime, election fraud, intimidation, violence, money, lies, extortion and a presidential candidate.[1] If you are a patriotic, middle class American who spends most of your time working for your family and enjoying your FREEDOM, you have probably not been bothered by the sounds of an ACORN dropping before now. The Las Vegas headquarters of the nation’s largest grassroots community organization for low-income people was raided today by Nevada state authorities as part of a voter-fraud probe. The raid was initiated by Nevada’s Secretary of State, Ross Miller, after a series of accusations that the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also known as ACORN, was submitting voter registration lists to the state that contained false or duplicate names of voters. “When we got [to the headquarters], no one was there so, there were no arrests,” Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh told CBS News. But, he added “agents...

ENSIGN URGES FEDS TO STOP PAYMENTS TO ACORN  [Rich Lowry] Washington, D.C. – In a letter to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), Senator John Ensign today called for the suspension of taxpayer dollars that ultimately end up in the hands of such controversial groups as ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. ACORN, which is under investigation, is eligible for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac affordable housing funds, which add up to hundreds of millions of dollars a year. “With the government takeover of Fannie and Freddie, the government will be taxing itself to create a...

Excerpt: ... Four of the protesters were charged with mob action and disorderly conduct after trying to break past a makeshift barricade at a side entrance to the council chambers. Madeleine Talbott, a leader with Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), said she felt justified in trying to lift a table to get past police who were guarding the doors. "We have a right to be in there and to watch them use parliamentary tricks to block this vote," Talbott said moments after being handcuffed. 'ACORN, the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless and the Service Employees International Union...

Barack Hussein Obama is enjoying an ever increasing lead in the polls. This despite the fact that he cannot explain away a relationship with an unrepentant terrorist in William Ayers, a financial relationship with Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines, and a religious affiliation with Reverend Wright. Any of these things alone would have nuked a Republican Candidate's chances of ever stepping foot in the Oval Office. But when viewed in totality they tell a story of a man with a very shady and radical history. Despite that history, Barack Obama is likely going to be elected President. Now, more news...

LAS VEGAS -- Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote. A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Nevada authorities said Tuesday they raided the Las Vegas offices of the controversial voter-registration activist group, ACORN. The Secretary of State's Office confirmed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that a search warrant was served at the ACORN office as part of a probe into suspected voter registration fraud. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, has been under withering attack from the Republican Party for allegedly signing up unqualified voters in order to boost Democratic presidential candidate Barrack Obama. ACORN has stated that while it indeed targets low-income voters, it is...

Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed. --Michelle Obama Read all about your new jobs.

...the reason no one focuses on Obama's "community organizing" is because few understand how it fits into the big picture. focus, trace, read [click acorn] - revisit if necessary - but do understand why a) Obama has gotten to where he is and why he threatens to continue that meteoric rise - with your tax money - straight to the white house and b) how Obama, his advisors & the dems are linked to the biggest financial meltdown since the Great Depression.

‘You’ve got only a couple thousand bucks in the bank. Your job pays you dog-food wages. Your credit history has been bent, stapled, and mutilated. You declared bankruptcy in 1989. Don’t despair: You can still buy a house.” So began an April 1995 article in the Chicago Sun-Times that went on to direct prospective home-buyers fitting this profile to a group of far-left “community organizers” called ACORN, for assistance. In retrospect, of course, encouraging customers like this to buy homes seems little short of madness. Militant ACORN At the time, however, that 1995 Chicago newspaper article represented something of a...

....you thought the trillion- dollar-plus "financial-rescue plan" signed into law Friday had been stripped of the radical group ACORN.....: The Chicago-based Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now's fingerprints are all over the law. ACORN's "fixing" a crisis it helped create is flabbergasting......the left-wing activist pressured lenders to give loans to lower-income borrowers who couldn't otherwise afford homes.....grateful homeowners then become political recruits, serving as foot soldiers for ACORN's radical agenda. Problem is, such mortgages are now going bad all across America. ACORN's answer: Pressuring banks not to foreclose....and with the "rescue" bill, they're getting ready to simply rewrite mortgages...

Editors' Note: This piece was co-written by Kenneth A. Klukowski.Election Day this year may bring the kind of chaos you expect from a category-five hurricane - with radical groups sending the nation into a protracted legal battle even worse than the mess back in 2000. To prevent it, we must act now. Developments in several states create the possibility that the 2008 vote could result in "Election Month," rather than Election Day. Court rulings on various absentee-voting procedures - along with early voting and other new forms of balloting - open the door to widespread abuses that could undermine the...

"From tiny ACORNs mighty oaks do grow" is the old slogan, from which the revolutionary organization ACORN derives its name. Like so many little hints dropped by the Left, you get a very clear message if you just think about it from their neo-Marxist revolutionary point of view. In the same way, the Sixties Weathermen Underground bombers got their name from a Bob Dylan line, "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing." This name was one of Bill Ayers' early literary efforts, you might say. The bombs set in the Sixties by the Weatherman...

CLEVELAND - Volunteers supporting Barack Obama picked up hundreds of people at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and drug-rehab centers and drove them to a polling place yesterday on the last day that Ohioans could register and vote on the same day, almost no questions asked. The huge effort by a pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, takes advantage of a quirk in the state's elections laws that allows people to register and cast ballots at the same time without having to prove residency. Republicans have argued that the window could lead to widespread voter fraud because officials wouldn't have an opportunity...

A weeklong period in which Ohio residents could register to vote and immediately cast a ballot has ended with turnout that didn't quite match the expectations of election officials - or the campaign predictions that preceded it, the AP reported. As of Monday evening with polling sites still open, projections are that about 3,500 to 4,000 voters in the state's four largest counties would have taken advantage of the policy, which survived multiple court challenges

While most Americans are watching the Dow and other stock-market figures zig and zag, I have my eyes fixed on numbers that are headed straight up: voter registrations. Across the nation, election clerks and secretaries of state are regularly announcing historic increases in the ranks of registered voters. For a pollster, this is a nightmare. It changes the composition of what we hopefully refer to as the likely voter population. All of a sudden, in many states we have hundreds of thousands of new voters with no prior vote history on the books. Will they vote or not? Which party...

A columnist and author says he has serious concerns about a left-wing organization that has received tax money and has close ties with Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama. John Fund is a columnist for The Wall Street Journal. His new book titled Stealing Elections: How vote fraud threatens our Democracy details questionable activities of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. Fund claims ACORN has been involved in voter registration scandals in about a half dozen states and have had people convicted in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Seattle, where they had to pay a heavy fine...

WASHINGTON--In 1992, Barack Obama worked for Project Vote for about seven months; now Project Vote and ACORN--a coalition of community organizations serving low income families--just wrapped up a voter registration drive targeting battleground states Obama needs to win the White House. Though officially non-partisan, the focus of the ACORN/Project Vote voter drive was on groups leaning Democratic in the presidential contest: African American, young, Latino and low income earners. They are called "historically underrepresented in elections" in a press release issued by the group on Monday. Republicans would call these target groups Democrats. ACORN/Project Vote ran voter registration operations in...

Neglecting premature alive children so they struggle and die alone is an acceptable form of abortion, to Democrats. Didn’t you know? During a recent discussion over the Barack Obama defense of abortion via forced premature birth then neglect of the alive struggling ‘fetus’ the following exasperated question arose:"Who could POSSIBLY vote to allow a baby crying out for warmth, touch, food and love to lay on a cold slab and die from lack of ANY ATTENTION!" The answer? … Any average voting democrat, that's who. Oh, to be sure, they use some form of magic thinking, to convince themselves they...

Acorn is committing voter fraud throughout the United States and has done so in past elections. It is an organized criminal organization attempting to commit fraud that will affect half of the Americans that vote. They should be investigated by the Department of Justice under the RICO act. If the DOJ will not investigate them, then maybe some conservative voters should band together and sue ACORN for defrauding them from electing leaders through fair fraud free elections.

“McCain would rather tear my campaign down than lift America up! That’s what you do when you are out of ideas, running behind and running out of time!” Barack Obama from the campaign trail Sunday According to the Obama campaign, Sarah Palin’s first round jabs regarding Obama community organizing pal, political mentor and convicted terrorist William Ayers, are an “unfair attempt” at eleventh hour “character assassination” by a “desperate campaign” running behind late in the game. Invest in Women-Owned Small Businesses: Women are majority owners of more than 28 percent of U.S. businesses, but lead less than 4 percent of venture capital-backed firms. Women business owners are more likely than white male business owners to have their loan applications denied. Barack Obama and Joe Biden encourage investment in women-owned businesses, providing more support to women business owners and reducing discrimination in lending. To create greater opportunities for women business owners who would like to do business with the federal government, Obama and Biden will implement the Women Owned Business contracting program that was signed into law...

As the deadline for voter registration arrives today in many states, Sen. Barack Obama's campaign is poised to benefit from a wave of newcomers to the rolls in key states in numbers that far outweigh any gains made by Republicans. Bush in 2004 (Ohio, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Missouri, Colorado, Iowa, Nevada and New Mexico) plus Pennsylvania, the largest state carried by Sen. John F. Kerry that Sen. "Discredited Republican voter-suppression guru Ken Blackwell is attacking Barack Obama with naked lies about his supposed connection to ACORN... Ken Blackwell is best known today for disenfranchising Democratic voters in his dual role as Ohio Secretary of State and chair of George Bush’s Ohio campaign in 2004. Blackwell’s attacks against ACORN and community organizers continue a vile Republican pattern of mockery and viciousness against this noble profession..." From the top of the webpage:...

A Republican front organization, AmeriPac, is sending an email out linking Barack Obama to the mortgage crisis. The email is a bit of a stretch, but not a complete stretch. The mortgage crisis was chiefly caused by the easy money printed by the Federal Reserve during the Alan Greenspan era and the early-Ben Bernanke era, and by the econometricians who used faulty equations to justify the financing of sub-prime mortgages. That said, the banking industry's heavy focus on sub-prime mortgages was also influenced by heavy lobbying pressure by left wing groups to provide mortgages to minorities and the poor. Chief...

Our nation may be on the brink of repeating the 2000 Florida election debacle, but this time in several states, with allegations of voter fraud, intimidation and flawed voting machines added to the generalized chaos that sent Bush v. Flaky conservative blowhard-cum-flaky liberal blowhard Arianna Huffington’s much visited gossip website, The Huffington Post, is just the latest media outlet trying to keep Senator Barack Obama’s exhaustively documented history of radical activism out of the public eye. After reading his post, titled “Fox News, GOP Tag-Team Obama With Voter Fraud Smear,” it would be unfair to accuse Walls of lying because that would mean he deliberately uttered a statement he knew to be false. In fact, Walls appears blissfully ignorant of the facts, but his attitude seems to be — damn the torpedoes! Full...

Getting class-warriors to admit they're wrong about anything is always a struggle. Witness Bill O'Reilly's attempt to get House Financial Services Committee chairman Barney Frank (D-Massachusetts) to admit he was on the wrong side of housing policy for decades. ACORN Should Be Obama's Undoing by Michael J. A Republican National Committee lawyer says one of the groups that recruited new voters in Milwaukee engaged in “systematic fraud.” The Associated Press said ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, hired at least seven convicted felons to register new voters. Their crimes included robbery and possessing cocaine. Earlier this year, Milwaukee officials discovered 49 cases in which employees of ACORN and the Community Voters’ Project allegedly submitted false voter registrations. They were dropped from the voter rolls, and a 21-year-old worker with the Voters’ Project was the first to be charged criminally this week. In April, the...
