Intolerant liberals? What mythical creatures do you speak of?
A good friend of mine took "YES ON 8" signs, taped them to his truck and drove through West Hollywood today with myself in the passenger seat
Essentially, we made a "victory lap" through the most heavily homosexual part of LA (perhaps anywhere; even the SF bay area is intimidated by their sheer gay prowess)
Needless to say, the Liberal backlash was slightly less than tolerant. One woman, frothing at the mouth, cursing loudly and (get ready for it) driving a Subaru insisted we were evil and proceeded to spit on his windshield. I've never feared for my life at the hands of a hemp-wearing, granola chomping, Code Pink lesbian but there I sat... terrified. When I send in my next CCW app, I'll be sure to put down "recognized and hated by the gay & lesbian mafia"
Aside from Ellen the Terrible, we also had more men with waxed chests screaming "hate crime" than I'd care to recall; it was like driving through an Abercrombie ad directed by Louis Farrakkkhan
The most rewarding part was an older gay couple at a stoplight. As we pulled up, they looked over, jaws-dropped and aghast, the driver said "You, sirs, are straight up monsters. Disgusting."
I shot back "No, sir, we're just straight."
Shameless vanity, but MAN did it feel great to expose these peacenik phonies for what they truly are: hatemongering, free-speech despising, mouth-breathers
Hope you enjoyed it...
Oh, man, toooooooo funny!
The opposition to this is livid. Are there any guarantees the 9th circus won’t throw it out again?
One thing I can say about the No on 8 crowd “don’t turn your back on them”
They ought to just rename ‘Subaru’ to ‘Lesbaru’. Or ‘Gaybaru.’ Maybe just cover all of them with ‘Pervaru.’
Yes on 8 has made me happy in an otherwise miserable campaign, and the fact that Obama supporters made it possible and basically slapped the gay community in the face is even better. Thanks!
This was before the election but my sister-in-law was waving a Yes on Prop 8 sign in the Bay Area when a car went by and a passenger yelled “Pervert” at her. Too funny. We seem to be getting more and more of that society where evil is called good and good evil.
You should just be thankful you didn’t look like as handsome as an angel.
(just a little Soddom and Gomorrah joke)
Somebody ought to take that commercial where the crazy lady says “Riddex . . . just makes me happy!” and substitute “Prop 8” for “Riddex.”
STRAIGHT to the heart of the issue, man! News like this makes a person feel happy, joyous, and ga....oops!
Funny, I tried to post yesterday (first time). Your post is way better than mine would have been. If you got a Libtard to froth at the mouth, That’s pure gold.
Yeah, no kidding. The black community does NOT appreciate having the horrible history of slavery and lynchings compared to the relatively easy lives of some snobby rich gays who are upset because they don't feel enough "acceptance" to help them get over themselves.
Getting wedgies on the playground as a kid ≠ slavery and Jim Crow!!!
Well, I live in HOLLYWOOD and here’s my vanity: went to walk outside with my Gf after BO won and 2 blocks away is the Village, a GLAAD bastion after West Ho. (near Sta Monica & Highland).
I could actually hear gays CRYING late at night inside the compound. I was ready to shout Yes on 8” but a steady stream of cars passed by yelling YES ON 8!! Now Hollywood is a citadel of liberalism BUT where these people came from surprised even me, that there are closet conservatives in this industry.
that was a fun read. thanks for sharing.
I haven’t laughed this hard in a LONG time. The visual is priceless. You should have recorded this!
Stupid. That is, assuming this story is even true.
Glad you enjoyed it
What a great line! Well done!
Yes, I did enjoy your story, and yes, let's rebuild the party. And lets wish the Bushites who drove the Republican party over a cliff that they have a pleasant Fall.
I am so proud that I live in a country that I can still live and vote my conscience. Thank you for your insight and bravery in driving through a neighborhood who also live and vote their conscience.
I will pray that we continue to be in the majority.
