I was thinking that same thing. There was mention of tripoli somewhere but that’s in africa! I’m confused.
This is a very serious event...is there more to come?
Has NK turned on Syria and Iran?
What has France learned that has changed their position on an Iran attack?
As for Syria's own ports, they are north of Lebanon, between the north end of Lebanon and the Turkish border.
The worrying thing about this ship would be if it dropped off goodies at each stop along the way. Because Egypt is where you'd drop something off intended to make it to Hamas in Gaza, and Lebanon is where you'd leave something for Hezbollah. Perhaps the main shipment wasn't the whole shipment...
But the oil price is quite eloquent - a record $81 a barrel today, up $12 in the last month, with oil industry analysts scratching their heads and saying it is "unexplained" (see the weekend's Barron's e.g.). It is explained all right, just read this stuff or listen to the French. It is a war fear premium.
I don't know about you, but I feel a really peculilar tension building up and this week feels like somethings gonna really POP!!! (but, then again, I could just be full of poop)
Well, Holy Toledo! (America’s only “holy city!”) I thought Lebonnon went all the way up to Turkey and landlocked them crazy Syrians!!! I wuz rong!!!
1700 ton ship delivering cement from halfway around the world?
How cost effective is that? We get bigger loads from across Lake Ontario.
It’s on the Mediterranean someplace. Look for the Russian warship.
"The official site of Syria's Tartous Port, www.tartousport.com, had reported that Al Hamad, flying a North Korean flag and carrying cement, entered the port on September 3. "
The port's website ONLY lists ships in port or waiting to dock.
The e-ships site returns NO hits for Al Hamad.
This nuke story is probably going to be a major motion picture. The novel should be out in a month. Just a guess, but it is major.
It’s all Pelosi’s fault!!
>>Ha, just had to say that once. Next stop Persia/Iran/ahmadinnerjabberwocky<<
“You better keep questioning EVERYTHING, cause nobody’s telling the straight dope on ANYTHING right at this particular time.
I don’t know about you, but I feel a really peculilar tension building up and this week feels like somethings gonna really POP!!! (but, then again, I could just be full of poop)”
+1
I say that maybe “equipment” was destroyed but no “nukes or material” was blown up. If it had been there would have been Atmospheric residue all over the place and everybody with any type of monitoring equipment would be reporting it.
That has not and is not happening.
Also, there have been multiple/conflicting reports of just what was destroyed.
Actually, Charleston's nickname is 'The Holy City.'
Well, not only that, there’s a place called “Holy City” just out of Santa Cruz up in the coastal range that I forgot about.
I am distracted by the Monday Night Football game and I see Blam has blessed us with a map...all I have is more questions about what that ship was hauling....and where it went.....
My wife is pist because she's go an appointment at 7:PM over here where my office is and her car also blew it's radiator and went to the shop today and I can't get over there to let her use my car because the road is blocked!!!
We've got trouble, right here in river city! Trouble! That starts with "T" which rhymes with "P" which stands for POOL!!! I know... tell my troubles to Jesus, right?(grimace)
“an Israeli tracer says the ship has not been seen since”
Here’s hoping it was sent to the bottom, and will never be seen again.
If Syria wants nukes, why go for the North Korean ones, which so far have proven unreliable in tests? The United States can provide nukes, delivered by a B-52.
