Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

I knew what the term, “red herring”, meant. But thank you for the “rest of the story”, as Paul Harvey would say. :)

Wha? 'nopartners' got zapped?!!?? Oh that's rich.

Man, that might be worth going out and getting a cold draft beer today.

Hey, maybe nopartners can get with howlin over at WideAflakes for some hot troll-on-troll action? LOL

So much for the cold one, puke! Blackbird.

I wouldn’t be proud of any statement from Cromwell, the sadist monster who attempted to wipe the Irish people off the face of the earth... and nearly succeeded.

Here's the national "reset button" back to the beginning of the age-old cycle:

"...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14

Regular grits?

Within five minutes even “regular” grits can be enjoyed (plus you can get a 5lb bag for a dollar, 1 1/2 cents/serving where “instant” ones are $2 for ten small pouches, abt 20 cents/serving). For “regular” or “instant”, you have to heat the water anyway, so the time doing that is a wash..

Here’s how I make grits perfectly done every time...

Thanks, azhenfud, I love grits too, and thanks for the recipe-I'll tell my cousin Vinnie.

I wouldn’t get too excited, if I were you, by the source of any particular quote. Wise words often come from men who have at times fallen into foolishness.

I’ve been thinking about this, and need to add to my post.

To be fair to Howlin, she never, ever flamed me.
However, when I disagreed with her, to avoid attracting her attention, I wouldn’t post my thoughts.
I had seen what she did to many other people, and avoided that like the plague.

Maybe FR is the wrong forum for me. ;o)

(BTW, she wasn’t always like that.)

Now, I’m off this thread, and outta here until this blows over.
In the last couple of years, I’ve found I have a life. ;o)

Thanks for posting that. I’m copying it so I don’t have to remember who said it when I try to remember how to read someone’s posts who’s been banned.

If Howlin’s banned, it’s pretty hard to read her posts, isn’t it?
You can read them.

Click on my screen name, which goes to my home page. Click on “in forum”. You’ll see my posts. Replace my screen name with Howlin’s in the box. You’ll see hers.

Great idea, both of you. Where exactly is the FR suggestion box? I don’t recall ever seeing it. I usually just ping JimRob, I hope that wasn’t doing it the incorrect way.

I suspect we’ll be seeing more of those kinds of posts in a few weeks. Fresh air, spring cleaning, birds chirping and conservatism in bloom.

Genocide=”foolishness” in your world view? I’d say you have a bit to learn in that regard. Not getting excited at all, but leaving for church.

thanks to Ansel12:

It was MineralMan on page 45 on the link below saying

“My time over there was always as an agent provocateur, and merely a hobby for me. I’m watching from a distance, now, because it amuses me to do so. I have no stake in what happens there, politically or otherwise. It’s just amateur psychology for me.”

Thanks. A few good FReepers got caught in their trap and a few almost did, like you and me both.

I also appreciate your tagline, try to keep replenished, but it goes so quickly.

>>>>>Horse pucky.

Nope. Just the truth. You can deny ever posting that you'd vote for Rudy the liberal. The facts of your posts say something completely different. Here are two examples that I know of. There are probably lots more.

I think we all have a tendency to see the worst in the posts which argue against our points of view and be forgiving of the posts that agree with us. I see the anti Rudy posts as being the most rude, for you it's vice versa. Could be the truth is in the middle, could be one of us is right, like me ;-)

“We’re looking for religious right members that could...IF HE BECOMES THE NOMINEE...hold their noses and vote for him rather than allow a Clinton to run this nation again.”

I saw the above post go by, but don't see how it's an offensive post, how it is a non conservative post, or that it identifies the poster as a non conservative. If you've a mind, would you explain to me how it is any of those things?

The Rudy threads are going again. They are worshipping their clown prince as we speak. I barely have my coffee and get to read one of them complaining how mean we are for getting mad when they compare Ronald Reagan’s foibles to their bald headed god. (I’m bald headed, but I don’t lisp or cross dress)

And it doesn’t do one lick of good to explain it to these people why they are making us despise their metrosexual monarch more and more each time they tear down the Gipper.

Very interesting analysis. Thanks. I’m sometimes amazed at what some freepers can do. I probably have access to the same information but it would take me over a year to put it together and then, it would be worse than stale hamburger.
