Ugh...
I've heard so many "legal experts" weigh in on this, that I'm not sure what I believe about the legality of it all.
But, I hate the idea of appointing another special counsel to it.
This is one of those things that I think the Attny General should get together with the nine members of the Supreme Court and say, "This is what we're doing... is it legal?" And then let the Supreme Court have the final say, But I often live in a fantasy land.
Should a special counsel be appointed to investigate the legality of the Bush administration's eavesdropping program?

An even better question.
Is the appointment of independent prosecutors unconstitutional?
To: everyone
It seemed to accept my NO vote.

The whole notion of a prosecutor reviewing the constitutionality of these wiretaps is absurd.

It wouldn't let me vote "No". No wonder we're way behind.Wouldn't let me vote no, just view the results (no problem). I'm not going to see if it will let me vote yes!

I don't see a point here. The act was legal. A special counsel would bring that point forward.....
Unless they were from the Rose Law Firm
