Ugh...

I've heard so many "legal experts" weigh in on this, that I'm not sure what I believe about the legality of it all.

But, I hate the idea of appointing another special counsel to it.

This is one of those things that I think the Attny General should get together with the nine members of the Supreme Court and say, "This is what we're doing... is it legal?" And then let the Supreme Court have the final say, But I often live in a fantasy land.

Should a special counsel be appointed to investigate the legality of the Bush administration's eavesdropping program?

It wouldn't let me vote "No". No wonder we're way behind.

An even better question.

Is the appointment of independent prosecutors unconstitutional?

Not to be a "wet blanket" . . . but why the heck would I visit the Communist News Network website for any reason?

The whole notion of a prosecutor reviewing the constitutionality of these wiretaps is absurd.

Yikes, we're not doing well, but then again, CNN is very liberal.
