ALITO CONFIRMATION HEARINGS
Questioning Begins Today
Each of the eighteen senators on the Judiciary Cmte. will have 30 minutes to question Supreme Court nominee Samual Alito today during round one. Sen. Arlen Specter, as chairman, will begin, then they will alternate by party in order of individual seniority. Round two starts on Wednesday.

Alito asked if he can respond, and started to... was interrupted by Shoe-mer.
Alito started again and Shoe-mer interrupted again... finally repremanded by Specter.
And still Shoe-mer had to get the last word after Alito finally got the answer out.

I called both Dayton and Coleman's offices (my senators) and I encourage everyone else to call theirs. Keep the heat on. Let them know the RATS look worse if this continues.

The Constitution says the things which are not enumerated in it, are reserved for the states and for the people. Abortion therefore is something to be determined by the states.
Why I can see this across the Atlantic and a bunch of Democrat Senators can't is something of a mystery to me.

I hope you are correct about that display. It was the first clue to me that just maybe Alito would join in on the attacks against our leader and bring about our eventual destruction as Lindsay said - no president will ever take action and we would be destroyed. It is just not worth being attacked from all sides while prosecuting a war.
The senators get immunity, the judicial has immunity - but, by george, that president is free game as the punching bag for all comers - foreign and American (as he honestly tries to protect each American from destruction).
It is just wrong and I'm sick of it.
