Richard Ziser for NV Senate!
He supports an unabridged constitution and bill of rights, including the 2nd amendment and NFA!
Some of my gun shop customers and myself celebrated the 4th with an informal shoot at our local range.
NFA guns present were a CAR-16, BM-59, 2 STEN's, SW-76, MAC 10, AK-47, 2 FNC's, M2 Carbine, 2 suppressed Ruger Mk. II's, and a suppressed HK USP Tactical .45
After a long day of several campaign stops Richard Ziser spent the evening shooting with us, and discussing NFA, our RKBA in general, troop equipment, and whatever else came up with our entire group.
Strait answers, not political evasions!
He appeared to really enjoy his trigger time, we shot until it began to be too dark to continue.
He said he learned a lot, not only about the varied guns but about the NFA Act and the frustrations NFA enthusiast suffer with slow transfers, "lost" paperwork, etc.
He is a pretty good shooter with the M2 Carbine, and not bad with the BM-59.
All this before making the long drive back down to Las Vegas.
And yes, I do have a picture to prove it.
Nevada has an excellent congressman in Jim Gibbons, author of the bill to grant an "amnesty" to veterans and their heirs who may have bring-back NFA items.
We have a good senator in John Ensign, but he disappointed me in not introducing Jim's bill in the senate, saying he would support it IF it is introduced. Not quite the same as making the introduction himself.
We need to add Richard Ziser to Nevada's senate roster, being new he will not be jaded, and I believe he will be willing to take on controversial issues from a position that supports the entire, unabridged, constitution and bill of rights.
The incumbent is Harry Reid is a "D", who claims to support the 2nd amend., but has strange and liberal/manipulative idea's on what he means when he says it.
Harry becomes a visible supporter only every five years, the rest of his term he is quite happy to go along with any and all attacks on our RKBA.

He is the real deal - a real conservative.

Harry Reid fully expects Richard to be his opponent after the September Pubbie Primary.

I've been talking to Steven Moore of Club for Growth to endorse Ziser. In fact, I was able to setup a meeting for Ziser's people to meet Moore.
If any Freeper's know Moore, put in a good word on Ziser's behalf.
Good luck to Ziser, let's hope that he can get Reid out of there.
He is noticeably older, not a bad thing, but it does put him at some disadvantage with younger voters, as well as possibly limiting his time in the senate if elected (possibly a good thing?).
I have spoken with Mr. Tilley at length, he also supports a complete constitution.
Mr Tilley does not appear to have as strong an organization or support base to beat Sierra Harry.
This probably reflects his home being in VERY rural Nevada as much as anything, sadly another disadvantage when competing against Reid.
I meant no disrespect to Mr. Tilley, I merely posted to relate that Richard Ziser has publicly shown his support of our RKBA in a very real and concrete terms, probably as solidly as he can until he is elected.
How many waffling politicians would even show up where machine guns were being lawfully fired, on the Fourth of July no less, AND allow their picture to be taken holding such a firearm?
Richard Ziser has a strong organization and support base, in Las Vegas and around the state. This is critical for him to beat Reid.
Please remember, Reid beat John Ensign by less than 500 votes in their last race, Reid "Won" in only two of Nevada's seventeen counties (Clark and Washoe), he IS vulnerable!
Richard still needs our help, and gun owners certainly will need his in the next congress.
